Food was excellent they were extremely busy and in the weeds, when we got there they weren't taking any more orders but yet they let us in anyways and because of that they stayed later than they needed to. I would recommend this place to anybody because they go out of their way for their customers that's something you'll never find in the corporate chain world. Plus the owner has been in business for 30 years where most businesses don't even last 30 months ! Their prices are way below what they should be, a family of four could have a great sit down Seafood meal and not break the bank.
Stopped in for dinner while in town for work. It's seldom that I get to New England, so I was craving some good seafood. Located next to their seafood market, it's got a nice nautical industrial vibe where you order at a counter, sit down, and wait for your order to come out. I went with the Clam Chowder, and a hot Lobster Roll with butter instead of the traditional cold with mayo. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and the portions were more than sufficient. Staff was friendly anf helpful. I'd highly recommend to visitors and locals alike looking for a delicious low-key seafood fix.
Laid back atmosphere, far from fancy, everything is served in plastic, Food & wine was good, place is tucked away in the back. Staff was friendly. Fresh seafood.
Lots of fresh fish on the market/take out side, or they have a dine in area too that had fun decorations and colorful atmosphere going on.
I got a lobster roll and I wasnt a huge fan of the roll they put it on compared to some other places in town I've tried, but the Lobster was great! They serve it with Mayo or Butter, and you get a side of fries as well.
J's crawfish boil was extremely good. Everything tasted good and nothing was over cooked. The only negative thing I will say is there was a dead fish in one of their tanks.
Delicious lobster grilled cheese and clam chowder! Big chunks of both lobster and clams. Very fresh tasting!
