Waitress was friendly and never made me wait long. She offered me water and made sure I was ok when I looked tired from hiking. The outside dining area was lovely, with a hint of European cafe in the style. My burger was cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was lightly sauced, which was so refreshing. The frozen custard was absolutely heavenly. I can't wait to go back!
PIE!. The Coffee Mill is a Harpers Ferry staple.... burgers, sandwiches, etc. The patio is a nice place to sit and enjoy your lunch. But the big draw here are the homemade pies - Apple Maple, Mixed Berry, and Strawberry Ruhbarb! You can buy them whole or by the slice and they are amazing! You can also add some vanilla frozen custard to your slice if your in the mood.
On a hot day, the umbrella covered tables were a great place to get out of the sun and get some food and drink. Service was good and friendly. Even though it was busy, the waitress kept our drinks filled. There is ice water for free just outside of the main door, if you are thirsty.
Chicken sandwich was good, fries were good, it all was good! PRices weren't too bad for the location (you are in a park). Try the cucumber-n-mint lemonade as it was dee-lish!
Delicious Affagato! Try with Brownie Batter Ice Cream!
Great place to stop while touring historic Harper's Ferry! We were surprised by the quality of the food and service provided for a little shop! Burgers were good and so were the wraps after a busy morning of walking! A few seats inside as well as umbrella patio outside. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate to return on my next visit to HaFe.
We stopped in here for coffee and ice cream after a long sweaty September day walking in the sun. It was a great treat and the kids had no complaints!
