This place is amazing.
Its a 15 min walk from the center of town where the historic part and train station and it has to be the best restaurant in the area.
The place is chic farmhouse-y look and felt very comfortable. Open Kitchen and where we sat we had the view of the chef. The chef seems like he is truly passionate about what he does. Waitress was friendly, super sweet and attentive. Abides by COVID guidelines- mask, limiting capability, social distancing. Very responsible.
Now to the food... DELICIOUS! Its farm fresh, no microwave, air fryers, all completely cooked fresh with fresh ingredients. The Polpetta which was a stuffed meatball was packed with flavor of savor. Meatball was tender. My husband and I were fighting for pieces.
We both had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque and it was comfort food at its best. The grilled cheese- the bread was buttery, toasted to perfection and fluffy with a nice goofy center paired with the smokiness of the ham. The tomato bisque was creamy and tomato-y but not too tomato-y.
The point is you have to come here.
Came here 2 nights in a row. First night we dined-in. The shrimp mac and cheese was a hit for both grown ups and kids alike. The pork belly was delicious with a tropical take on risotto with pineapple for sweetness.
We got take out for night two. The burger was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. Grilled cheese with ham was hearty, filling, and paired perfectly with the tang of the bright tomato bisque. So good!
Anthony has put together a chic and down-home atmosphere and teamed with Jeremiah, a wonderful chef with a fabulous personality, it's a recipe for success! Anthony tirelessly decorated the venue for the wedding and stunning doesn't begin to describe the lights, decor, thoughtful touches, and ambiance. The guests were in awe as they walked through the barn doors and the bride and groom were stunned. Thank you, Anthony!
Jeremiah catered the rehearsal dinner and wedding and he went above and beyond, catering to our needs and checking in constantly to see what else could be done. He has a great and competent staff that also continuously looked for ways to add smiles to the guests and special touches to the service. Would definitely recommend the food AND the chef. If you find yourself in the area, check out the Tavern and if you need a caterer, I insist that Jeremiah is the best pick!
Hands down perfection! Best burger I have quite literally ever had. Shrimp and grits...amazing!

This has been some of the finest food I’ve eaten since Victoria and Albert’s! The flavors, textures and seasoning are a delight fir the palate. Each dish is distinctive and delicious. The small plates allow opportunity to try several dishes before reaching satiety. Our dining experience at Hamilton’s is a highlight of our time in Harpers Ferry! Enjoy!
A bit pricey, however worth the price tag. They don't use microwaves or freezers so everything comes out amazingly fresh. Food was out of this world! Incredibly nice staff - would definitely eat here again
