[UPDATE 6/5/18] It is the start of the season and they have a lot of new staff. They struggle with making the same cappuccino every time. It is still good and my favorite place in town for my am capp, and I expect them to continue to improve. [UPDATE 7/2/16] Now, my favorite cappuccino in Harbor Springs. I have been in there several times a week for the last few months and the cappuccino has become consistent. My wife orders a Latte and I order a cappuccino and you can tell the difference between the two, as you should. The capp is nice thick foam that does not water down the espresso. the latte is warm milk that does not taste burnt. Customer Service is wonderful and the staff is very attentive. [ORIGINAL - 6/23/13] We have tried them a few times hoping that it gets better. In fairness, I am a cappuccino snob. And so I am more critical. I have not tried the food, I am only reviewing based on the cappuccino and service. Today was not a good experience. I was the only person in the store and was asked to wait while the server answered the phone. Then the capp was served in a tall narrow mug with lipstick on it. Now I know that happens, so the issue is not the lipstick, but how it was corrected. I took it upon myself to grab another cup off the rack and pour my capp into it. I met eyes with the server and I said,"there was lipstick on the cup." She replied,"Oh." A bit casual and unprofessional. But, I cannot fault the business for the service, but the product was not that good either. Remember the narrow cup? Well, it flattened the foam and watered the drink down so much it tasted like coffee flavored milk. This is not the first time I have had a very weak cup here, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Regrettably, I am not able to recommend this place for cappuccino.

This is a very reliable and accommodating coffee shop where WiFi is free, and the coffee is excellent. I don't spend a while lot of time "up north", but when I do I usually hit this spot each morning, sit down with a cup of coffee, and spend thirty minutes getting caught up on various work items with their free WiFi. They recently renamed themselves from the "Wooley Bugger Coffee Shop" to this...I like the new name. They also upgraded the interior, which was a nice move...but there aren't too many nooks to get set up with a laptop or tablet. It's a pretty wide open floor plan. In the end, and when you are in Harbor Springs, I would recommend this spot.

If you are a vegan, you will find good food. But they have all sorts of nice stuff for everybody. Deconstructed skinny girl salad was AWESOME

They make a mint, white chocolate ice frappe that is incredible! Staff has always been friendly and helpful.
