Cassano's Pizza And Subs

Cassano's features regional specific pizza that you might not find back at home if you are travelling. The sauce has a flavor all it's own that most people including myself find very very tasty. Staff is currently (October 2021) having a tough time because of the worker shortage so plan to enjoy a long dinner and be patient. Prices are a bit steep compared to other pizza joints, however most locals find it worth it.

We sat for an hour after they took our order, 25 people came in after us, got their food, waiter never came back to check on us. People who came in after us got their food, we never got ours. Finally checked with waiter, he said they lost our order and were starting on it now, we said cancel it and left. Smelled good, may try again sometime but kind of doubt it. Waiter didn't write down our order, not sure if he forgot or it was lost.

Just left. I have food allergies so I ordered an item that traditionally does not have that ingredient on it, instead I was brought a soggy pizza sandwich, waited 20 minutes waitress hadn’t come back to the table I then took my sub back to the front myself where the manager said they’d make something different, 20 minutes later I got up to go pay for my drink and leave. After leaving the restaurant the manager decided it was ok to complain about why I even asked for a remake if I was leaving in front of my friends who were paying for their food. They informed her I didn’t realize it’d take 20 more minutes to the hour I’d already been in the restaurant. Never again.

The waiting staff are superb. The food is delicious. Cassano's has treated Hannibal pristine and perfect for over I think 30 years. Honestly I can't think of a better place where everyone can just kind of take their hat off. It's like every evening school is out for summer. The pitchers of soda or bottomless. And you just cannot get away without ordering a basket of their battered and deep fried mushrooms with a side of ranch dressing. That itself is almost a meal alone and a great appetizer for you and Friends and Love ones. Make sure you stop in today, tomorrow, or the next day you can. As of matter of fact have a birthday party!
