First time visiting this restaurant after living in this city for over 12 years. Taste was very good but the service was not well planned with it being 5 de Mayo and the place being packed. Will visit again. Picture: Enchiladas Tarrascas (Mole).

Pretty solid Mexican spot. Burritos are my go to. Had the Pollo Suizo and it was pretty good, not necessarily great. Still killed the plate tho. Only issue is there’s NEVER any horchata!

El Tarasco has the most delicious menu. The rich ingredients used and the flavors they introduce are not only nostalgic they are masterful! The service is great. They treat you like family here! The cocktails are freshly made and the dining experience is so authentic. My Hispanic family is very picky when dining at Mexican restaurants and El tarasco is our favorite local eatery. There is no contest. I love this place ❤️

The food was absolutely excellent... when it got there. It did take quite awhile. In fact, there's a 90 minute limit for dine in, and we were definately there longer than that, table of 3.

The fajitas and shrimp not so good.
All in all the food was really yummy.

Lack of attention to customers., waited 30 minutes just to be asked for drinks, and when we finally got our food not once did they come to check on us until we went to them having to ask for service.
Decent food if you're willing to age a decade waiting for it.

Dined in today at around 1pm. I wished I was not hungry because the service was very slow. The food was good but the service was poor. I asked for extra chips since I ordered a ceviche, after waiting about 10 minutes I took the chip container inside just so they would get the hint that I wanted my chips ASAP. It didnt come until I almost finished my ceviche. What a waste of good chips and salsa. We were excited to try them since they had outdoor dining, ended up disappointed. The flies were also a nuisance. I hope the dinner crew is better than their lunch crew. Will stick to Valle Grullense for mexican food next time.
