My job requires me to travel a lot I'm on the road 4weeks at a time and I try to find a decent restaurant with good food. I found this place by accident while trying to follow my gps to a steak house in the area and all I can say is wow....the restaurant itself is set up awesome deffinetly has a homie feeling as soon as you walk in. The staff were VERY polite and kind and the food was astounding. I ordered the bear paw chicken fried steak (I recommend giving it a try) and it was by far the best I've had yet it was tender enough to melt in your mouth and you deffinetly get your money's worth! The best part about it all though is you feel at home and the food is about as close to a home cooked meal as a person could get.Thursday evening was my first experience here and it was such a good one I went back again Saturday night seen the same kind faces and ordered the same delicious meal. I understand everyone has different experiences but I'd just like to say mine was a truly great one. Next time I'm back in the area I will deffinetly be coming back for a third time!
Very exciting news! I eat here all the time and am a gluten conscious person (for my granddaughter with Celiac). I just found out that their ranch is Hidden Valley, which is GF and they also serve GF buns upon request. I love this place! ��
Food was great, wait time wasn't too bad. Dining in was fun, it's been awhile. Highly recommend the blackberry stuffed french toast! Dessert looked delicious, but with the stuffed french toast no room. They have a glorious gift shop like setup as well.
Breakfast is always delicious! The pies are absolutely outstanding too. The banana cream pie is fresh and has just the perfect amount of sweetness. Each time me and my girlfriend dine here we are greeted with friendly hostesses and servers.
Awesome food & awesome service! Very generous in portions (no one left hungry).
We were just passing through and stopped because it looked promising. Glad we did... If we make it back to this neck of the woods, we will definitely stop!
I was in the mood for meatloaf, it came with cornbread, green beans, and mash potatoes. The presentation was pretty as a picture. I couldn't finish my meal, so I brought home, it took me two days to finish my meal. For the dessert I couldn't take another bite. If I had I would of ordered coffee and cheesecake for sure. Next time. Thank you to the waitress that waited on us, hope to see you real soon.
I recommend this place to family and friends. Home cooked meals is worth the wait anytime. It's a great place to take your family, family friendly
Freakin delicious!!! Amazing biscuits! Portions were very very filling! I come to Black bear every time I come to California! Eat here!!! I love this place!
Normally their portions are very generous but my steak this day was a bit on the smaller side. Overall great food. Onion rings were crunchy and the onion didn't slide out. Swesome burgers as well.
Celebrated our anniversary here. It was a nice atmosphere. Food was good.
Family brunch... Not a bad wait for Father's day... Around 40 minutes. Service was good, although food service was a little slow... Meals were good, portions large.
