A quiet location in the mid-afternoon. Food was delicious. We both had salad with cracked. They were flavorful and delicious and the plate was well put together. It is easy to get to from I-70 and worth the stop. We'll stop again on our next trip through the area.

A gem of a local restaurant and bar in Hancock, MD. Great homemade soup and homemade desserts. Big portions for sandwiches and entrees. I hear their wing night is great. Every Wednesday. Reasonable prices.

I was surprised for a small town bar; people weren't more friendly. Two of my friends, my husband , and I walked in, and you would have thought they'd seen ghosts. Not a word from anyone, not even the bartender. She didn't even say hello or greet us in any way until we walked up to order drinks. Went downstairs to play pool & had to find the light switch ourselves as it was pitch black. Once we got the first light on, a patron had to come find the lights for above the table. It's very clear they don't clean down there often. Trash on the floor, used chapstick, and we even found an EATEN off chicken wing bone on top of one of the speakers. It's a nice place, but they need to pay more attention to cleaning & their guests.

Went there with my family at 5pm on a Monday for dinner, restaurant wasn't busy. Waited for 10 minutes for service and then left. 2 other customers were there as long as we were (also without being served) when we walked out.

Recently remodeled and renovated. Best watering hole in Hancock. Good food, cold beer and the ballgame to watch on big screen TV's. Friendly staff who'll offer daily food and drink specials. Just a place for a thirsty and/or hungry cyclist can quench their thirst and satisfy an hungry appetite .

A place where America comes together over an Ice Cold Beer and some really great Burgers. And the service is warm, welcoming and excellent.
On my visit we had a dozen dirt road motor cyclist from down south, a cyclist doing the C&O Canal wearing a NYC Triathlon shirt and a few locals at the Bar.
All curiously chatting with each other & having a good lunch break.
And there where even four Amish that came on bicycles having lunch in the dinning room.
Highly recommended if you stop in Hancock.
