Good food, friendly service, great prices. Overall, the place itself was ok. The big downside was that the bathroom was in a very bad condition - no dryer or towels, it was difficult to wash hands and feel cleaner because one then needs to use clean hands to turn off the faucet. One has to wonder how the employees do it. I hope the paper towel shortage was an isolated incident.

If you follow my reviews, you know that I'm still making my way through the central Jersey pizza spots and this was my first time at Mario's. Service was very good and welcoming. My opinion about the pizza... The crust: excellent and perfectly cooked for me - thin and slightly toasted. Sauce: fantastic, slightly sweet tomatoes with a great seasoning. Toppings (sausage and mushrooms) perfectly cooked and just the right amount. Cheese: Boooo. Seemed like cheap processed stuff. Admittedly, years ago, I worked for a cheese company so I can be a little picky, but their choice of cheese is a blocker for me. That said, others may really like it so I recommend seeing for yourself. Overall a pretty quality pie. Prices were very reasonable.

I lived in Hamilton for over 20 years and this is easily my favorite pizza place in the area. I make a point to stop here each time I come back to visit. Everything is fresh, prepared in front of you, and delicious. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Recommended: everything on the menu is excellent! I've been here a few hundred times and haven't had a bad experience yet. The Sicilian pizza, mushroom cheese steak, and zeppoles are my favorites. Pizza Adventures: Destination #29
