New York Pizza

Great people, good service and pricing, consistently excellent food with generous portions. Hands down, the best pizza restaurant around! A must try! My family and I have been eating at this family owned restaurant for many years, now. In fact, one might say that we have a tendency to live at this place. The freshly made dough, pizza sauce and meat gravies are outstanding! The meatballs (My favorite) are outrageous! I can go on here... And absolutely NO HEARTBURN or upset acid stomach from eating anything that we order. And that's a lot of dinners and items. And the taste of all of their foods and dishes? Visit them and taste for yourself. Honestly, maybe even as good as GRANDMA used to make!

Food is good but delivery drivers not so much. I ordered food for my older mom for delivery the driver wouldn’t come up to her apartment and left it with the doorman. Well he put the food on top of the pizza and then when she went to have a slice the cheese was all on the top of the box. Very disappointed.

7/17/20 I bought two slices of salad and panini with grilled chicken. A dough and panini taste terrible! I’m not Italian but, I used to live close to #RosasPizza on Fresh Pond Rd in Ridgewood, Queens and 69th st in Maspeth , and I know how the dough should taste. This one taste awful! A piece of advise, whomever is running this place should go to Queens and check how the dough should taste.

Went here to get a pizza. Ended up purchasing a Meat Lovers pizza with onions. The pizza looked nice before we left. The pizza could have been cooked a little longer. I usually tell a pizza place to cook it well done but my friend prefers it not be. I think with a meat lovers type pizza you need to have it cooked well done because there’s a lot of meat. Got home and opened up the pie and sat down. Couple of bites in my friend turns to me and says… “Do you have any ham in yours?” I look down and inspect my pizza and nope, they completely forgot the ham! I’m not going to lie though this felt more like a beef pie than a meat lovers pizza completely. Very little pepperoni and we’ll no ham. Even though it was a heavy pizza for 21 dollars I don’t know if it was worth the price. The one thing that got me was the extra they charged us 2.50 plus tax for onions. 2.50 for onions? I might as well of gotten bacon on my pizza for a extra 2.50. If I do go back here I’ll be very sure to make sure my order is completed properly this time. I’d say there’s a 75% chance of returning for a weekend pizza. Also as a owner to me it’s complete rude to copy and paste the same reply to your reviewers. We take the time to write about our experiences to help your consumers make a informed decision about your establishment. Maybe you could take the time to properly reply or you shouldn’t bother at all.
