I always enjoy coming to this location here in Hackensack NJ on Main Street in Bergen County. The atmosphere is calm - the music is nice, and the staff is friendly. Only downside is parking depending on time you come. I had already started eating and forgot to take a before picture (he he). Pictured is pinto beans, white rice and a platter with grilled chicken , steak, fried pork skin (forgot the name) sausage and plantains. A salad came with the meal but I massacred it before taking pics. The food here is good - never had a complaint. If your from the area I would recommend and since Hackensack is going through a remodeling stage I'll be trying all the new restaurants popping up in the area and share my reviews. Until my next eating experience stay safe and smooches.

If you love Latin food this is the place to go! The food here is just great, takes me back home. My favorite is Mar y Tierra which is a perfect mix of sea food, chicken and meat. In the weekends it’s really crowded so you might want to get a reservation or call ahead. There is free parking and Also it’s not difficult to find paid parking on the street. This place it’s also wheel chair accesible. A meal for 1 person it’s around $25

Menu has a lot of options. It was highly recommended but I was also highly disappointed. The Mojarra frita lack of flavor but did the trick to take the craving away. Second dish was Hígado and was not good at all, had an after taste and too sweet as a side dish a simple salsa was exactly that too simple out of a plastic bag supermarket type no dressing options and when you ask for oil and vinegar expect to be serve cooking oil. Customer service outstanding, friendly and engaging that was nice.

Love the large shareable portions. Went on Saturday night for live salsa music. Great ambiance. We ordered the arepas and shrimp with tostones for appetizer. Entre was a salad with grilled chicken, and salmon with Avocado salad. Sangria is a must! --- EDIT: We came back for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time! Going on a weekday is highly suggested. The service is fabulous either way, but during the week there is more seating and it is far less crowded.

My daughter and I chose NDC as we drove by. The lighting was inviting and we had been before so we knew the food was going to be good. We were seated right away. The waiter was very nice and personable and our food came out rather quickly. The portions were amazing and the food was hot to the table and delicious. The table across from us engaged us in friendly banter about whether my daughter could finish her plate. It was a fun dinner outing. We will definitely be back.

Sunday 2pm. Was able to get a table for 9 in 2 minutes but if any later, would've had to wait. All the food was enjoyable and everyone took a doggy bag home. The portions are huge. If you don't want to take home, don't order apps. The avocado salad was excellent as was the chicharrón. My wife's steak was a little tough but in small pieces was doable. The waitress was good but slow with drinks. However I chalk that up to being busy. Make sure you check your bill as they add gratuity automatically and still have a tip line on the CC receipt.
