I have ate there many times and have been satisfied each time. You’re able to see the cooks prepare your meal and the staff is all very friendly.
For the last 11 years, China Dragon has been our go-to for Chinese dinner takeout. It is small and has 3-4 tables but their primary business is takeout or delivery. I have never sat down to eat there. Our regular orders are the Fried Dumplings, Singapore Noodles with extra bean sprouts and spicy Cashew Chicken. Their fried handmade dumplings, though not great to look at, are always awesome with the sweet & tangy dipping sauce. The portion of Singapore noodles serve as both dinner and lunch for work next day. My husband loves their cashew chicken. I'm also very fond of Mr. Hao Fu's roasted duck. I get a whole one every few months to debone its meat & make Roasted Duck Tacos with julienned cucumbers, green onion sprigs & hoisin sauce.
Best in gulf shores. Best place in gulf shores for Chinese. small dining area though and they need to get the hottie back that worked there so long
LOVE THIS PLACE!. The food here has always been good. We have ordered take out delivery for over 4 years here, usually at lunch. I love the shrimp w/lobster sauce. They give you a huge amount of rice and lots of large shrimp. I always ask to substitute the mushrooms for more broccoli and they are so great about it. And the sweet tea there is to die for! It is so good. I'm not sure what they put in it to make it so good. And it amazes me how they always get your order right.
Great Change of Pace. After all of the seafood we've had this week, we were ready for a night of something different. After reading the reviews here, we decided on China Dragon. The gentleman on the phone was very personable and knew where we were. He was actually the one who made the delivery. Our order was here in about 30 minutes - impressive! The food was very good! One extra nice thing - fried rice is the default. We usually have to pay several dollars extra to get that instead of plain white rice The Popo platter was HUGE and a great value. We could have stopped eating after that! We also ordered the Garlic Chicken and asked for it to be hot but not killer. It was perfect. The chicken was all white meat and SO tender - this is probably the best garlic chicken I've had. The hot and sour soup was just okay. It needed more rice vinegar. Overall, though, we were terrifically pleased and highly recommend China Dragon in Gulf Shores, AL.
Good sized portions. You will not go away hungry. good food good people

First time order, had it delivered, arrived hot & delicious! Had General Tso, pork fried rice & egg rolls!
So Good. Everything we got was delicious. I would especially recommend both the steamed dumplings and the beef curry dumplings.
This is my "go to" delivery joint. I get Beef Szechuan with broccoil and water chestnuts, hot and sour soup, & egg roll. Food is always good, hot, delivered quickly, and a great value for the proportion size. By making the soup a large and adding an egg roll, 1 entree can easily feed 2.
