Overall, the BBQ and experience were good. My wife ordered the brisket, which was decent. I ordered the Nasty G sandwich, which was okay. It was my first $20 sandwich and I didn't care for it. It's creative, but when you add pulled pork, chopped ribs, brisket, chicken, shrimp, coleslaw, and a few other items, everything loses their flavor. Imagine having dinner and you mix everything together on your plate, then eat it. It reminded me of being a kid, which was cool, but not as a satisfied adult. For those of you who love large sandwiches and all flavors at once, give it a try, you might enjoy it. The young lady at the counter who took our order was very sweet, which is what I love to see in a small business.

My meal: pulled pork plate, fries, green beans ($13) Sons: Kids meal pulled pork and Mac and cheese ($10) Husbands: 2 meat meal- pulled pork, sausage, fries and beans. My son’s meal and my meal was cold. Pulled pork was extremely dry. My son didn’t touch his Mac and cheese — looks gross. Don’t blame him. My husband thought his meal was good though. Guess it’s luck of the draw on if your meets good or not. 🤷‍♀️

I live down here and have been to this place a good bit. The service has always been very good and the food is always decent. The nachos are very good. However, one thing I keep getting (because I keep hoping it’s changed) is the mac n cheese. Every single time I’ve gotten it it has been a bunch of plain wet noodles with some pieces of cheese here and there. It’s not creamy at all and it’s honestly some of the worst I’ve had. In my opinion, mac n cheese is important for a BBQ restaurant. The two go together like sweet tea and the south. If it wasn’t for this, I would give it 5 stars all day.

Hog Wild BBQ is a phenomenal BBQ experience. It's the first time I've seen hipster and BBQ be combined into a modern and upscale dining experience. The key here though is the sauce selection which was just tremendously flavored. Every, single sauce was just delicious. Their Alabama White BBQ sauce was a very different - and pleasant - flavor surprise. Bravo to this team!
