Best place for sushi. Hands down. The Volcano is our favorite! The owners and staff are the best and make the experience that much better.
Sushi was delicious. I honestly was treated like family here! This will be my go-to sushi place for date nights in the future. Will highly recommend this place to all my family and friends!
(Not sure where my first review went so this is a re-review) this place is always worth the go regardless of any situation or date night. Stepping in the door of this establishment is what I would perceive to an experience of a small restaurant in the country side of Japan. I typically get sushi so I am unsure of the hot items but the sushi is absolutely worth it. Check out their website as they have classes and much more on there. (situations permitting).

Ordered miso soup, the salmon republic roll, and mochi ice cream. Everything was perfect. I fear that this place may have ruined all other local sushi for me. Will definitely be back!
I love Yokohama sushi! I have tried other places around Indianapolis, supposedly with "great sushi", all pale in comparison. Amazing taste, balance, and presentation. Whenever I have eaten sushi elsewhere I have been disappointed. Don't miss out! Eat Yokohama, so we can all continue to enjoy this gem of a sushi joint!

We LOVE Yokohama! The owner is SO SWEET! The food is SO YUMMY. The Calamari is a definite highlight! Several years ago I visited Yokohama when it was owned by a different woman. I visited with my young son and a friend with her son. The former owner was the worst owner of a restaurant I had ever met. Her rudeness was next level. We didn't even eat there, we had to leave. I vowed never to return to Yokohama again, but after many years I changed my mind and wish I would have done so sooner! The ownership had changed and only for the BETTER! We love this place so much my now not-so-young son asked to go here for his 12th birthday! A true gem for Greenwood! (side note, decor could use some updating/decluttering but that was the ONLY not so positive note I have)
If you want delicious Japanese cuisine, please look no further than Yokohama in Greenwood! High quality, and presented beautifully! The miso was perfection, along with the Godzilla roll! Best calamari I've ever had! Next time you're craving seafood, head over to Yokohamas!
I have been here at least two times a year for the past five and not ever had a poor experience. I have never had a bad roll and they try to add new ones to keep the menu fresh. The service is always friendly and the sushi chef/owners are phenomenal at what they do!
