I pass this place almost every single day, so I was excited to finally try it. It was EXTREMELY disappointing. First off, the salsa was not spicy whatsoever. The chips were really good, light and airy and sprinkled with chile limon. My strawberry margarita tasted like straight syrup from a margarita mix. Didn't taste or feel any effects of a single drop of liquor. I ordered the Catalinas Special (burrito) with chorizo. The chorizo tasted like it had been sitting out all day and had NO seasoning to it at all. I had to dump a ton of salsa on it. The side of rice that came with it was crunchy and undercooked. It was just very disappointing seeing as how this was an authentic Mexican restaurant. My boyfriend, who happens to be 100% Mexican wasn't impressed either. His classic lime margarita was decent at best. He ordered the steak fajita nachos, which were hard to eat since the chips were so light and airy and there was barely any queso/cheese on them. He also ordered a chorizo street taco with cilantro and onion, which once again...had NO flavor. Overall, although the service was amazing, we won't be going back anytime soon.

Great food and nice atmoshere. It was not crowded for lunch time. The seasoned chips and mild salsa taste good. The entrees are good portions a delicious. I look forward to another visit here.

While I got there too late to enjoy the buffet, I stayed to order an entree and was not disappointed. The food was authentic, good quality, and the chips+salsa especially stood out. I got a combination meal of a chicken taco and a chicken burrito for $7.25, which was enjoyable both in size and taste. The interior was clean, music fairly unintrusive, and service was friendly. All in all, I would eat there again for the entree, but am likely to return to try the buffet. Above average across the board, it's worth a solid 4 stars. I highly recommend future customers to leave constructive criticism, because it has good room for positive growth.

I'm taking into consideration that we went at 2 PM on a Tuesday (which is after what would be a lunch rush). After receiving a personal recommendation from a co-worker of my wife's and reading some of the better reviews, we decided to try the buffet today. Tip: If you're going in between lunch and dinner hits, skip the buffet and order off the menu and, even during peak times, I'd be hard-pressed to recommend the buffet at all. The rice was clumpy and seemingly pressed - which more than likely means it's not fresh, wasn't made today and was dumped out of a container and reheated (leftovers from yesterday or whatnot). The "refried beans" looked like it's been sitting out on a heating table for so long that the top half of the pan was dry and starting to crack. One of the selections wasn't even warm, let alone hot - as if it was cooked and just set out for several hours (chicken and sauce). I ate a couple of bites and pushed my plate aside. Couldn't risk the chance for food poisoning. Taco shells were on the verge of being stale. The salsa and chips we're good, so there's that. It was our first time in. An older couple came in and sat at the table directly behind us and we overheard them talking about how extremely unimpressed they were, too. Now, I will say that the young man that sat us was extremely attentive, got us our drinks and consistently checked on us, so I did leave him a tip (not going to leave him hanging as he gave it 100% effort), but I doubt if we'll be back given this whole experience. I dunno...maybe we'll give it a couple of months and try it again...

Worst Mexican restaurant we have ever been to BY FAR! Only two tables there and there was so much commotion coming from I’m guessing family in the corner, music AND a tv with a movie on. Drove us crazy! Food was HORRIBLE. My boyfriend had to pick half the stuff out of his burrito so he could even eat it because it was so hard! I would NOT recommend the buffet either. I cannot express the low quality and bad taste from the food. The only thing we enjoyed were the chips and salsa, which they charge $1 per basket of chips and another $1 per bowl of salsa, just so you know.

Went once probably somewhere I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to again. The chips are amazing. Service was slow. No alcohol. Also they were out of a lot of soft drink options. The steak and the chorizo for the tacos were very bland definitely need to have some sauces on the table to be able to spice your taco up. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great either.

Our server was friendly and extremely helpful. The taste of this Mom and Pop homestyle Mexican buffet made me feel like I was at my Aunt's house being served my favorite comfort foods. Can't wait to go back!
