I love Newk's! In my opinion their sandwiches are better than Panera. Soups are delicious and salads are huge! Love it!

This place is very unique. The food is absolutely wonderful, and i dont say that lightly. Everything here seems to be made with care and attention. There is a small bar of sides that you can add to your meal (like tomatoes, garlic, pickles, etc). The store is very clean and quite relaxing.
My only real complaint is the prices. Ill post a picture of my receipt and let it kinda explain a little. Drinks are pretty expensive for a fountain. Probably because of the expensive plastic keepable cups they use.
Would come here a LOT more often if prices were slightly lower. Even knocking a single dollar off would be a lot more appealing price wise.

This place is okay.
Here's what I mean by "okay." It's not a place to love. It's not a place to hate. It's just in the middle, 2.5 out of 5, ho-hum, so-so... just okay. And it's a touch overpriced to be "just okay."
But if you've never been, you're bored, you are looking to just get something okay, you won't be angry that you tried it.

Love this place.. Really a undiscovered gem for good food at a pretty reasonable price.. Clean, open, well lit, table service with no tip..I try to visit new places at least once... Give them a chance..I keep coming back to this place!

Great food and price. Had the grilled steak sandwich, a cup of the gumbo, a side of pasta salad and a drink all for under $20. The pasta salad was good enough that they should offer it as an entree.

Excellent selection of sandwiches and salads! Some of the largest salad portions I've had in Indy and always fresh with lots of meat and chicken in the salad! Atmosphere is welcoming and they've got a very nice covered outside patio as well.
