Shoney's

Not very clean. We were greeted by the hostess who brought us to a booth that on the table had water rings from glasses that were from the previous customers. Food was on the table and seats. The hostess walked away without saying a word. We walked to cleaner booth. The second waitress who waited on us was nice but, took a long time like 40 minutes or so to bring my salad. My salad was very fresh though. My husband said his food was good but, not much variety. As I looked around the booths and tables were covered in food crumbs and stains from people who had left. The floors were covered in food. One employee was walking around in the parking lot. I will say there was a friendly lady who I think was the manager walking around asking people how things were. She seemed to know alot of people by name.

Enjoyed the lunch buffet. Great choices of soup, salad, vegetables, baked and fried chicken, fried pork chops, cookies, cake, fruit and bread from which to choose. Food bar was replenished often. Food was tasty and well seasoned. The choices probably change daily. Ordering from the menu is also an option. Excellent service and friendly staff. Clean well-stocked restroom. Reasonably priced. Face masks optional.

Hadn't ate at a Shoneys in atleast 10yrs so when we got off at the Greenville exit to find something to eat we stopped here. Food was good, the place was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. Their greens were the best thing we ate off the buffet. And if you like apples pie, you gotta give theirs a try it was amazing.
