The Bent Fork

So after a long day at lake Pymatuning . We decided to get food before heading back home. There were quite a few local options for us to choose from. We decided on going to the Bent Fork. It was about a 10 minutes from the Lake. The only thing negative about the place is it's Cash Only. Inside is very interesting. The whole place is built with antique and home made one of a kind items and decor. A lot of imagination and art skills were used to furnish the place .The menu wasn't the largest, but it had a nice selection. The place pretty much makes everything fresh and or by hand. The real homemade stuff like grandma used to make. Are party ordered a 2 Dumpster burgers and 2 orders of Chicken Alfredo. It will tell you the burger was a 10 of 10. I also tried the wife's Alfredo and it was amazing also a 10 of 10. So we took a chance and found a hidden gem. Will definitely visit again.

Very different scenery in this restaurant than you would.normally see. Although a limited.menu the Food was great! Also enjoyed the entertainment of live music! Would love to see them.expand their menu..Husband ordered the stacked meatloaf...he loved it!! Grandson ordered the spaghetti and he also loved it and i ordered the very berry salad..very good!! Server was very kind and effecient...Cook came out to greet us amd even gave my grandson extra spaghetti becuase he almost had it eaten before they could bring out the extra sauce he wanted...cant wait to go back.again and try their other menu items!

Stopped at the Bent Fork on a whim and so glad we did. The food was delicious we had homemade chicken Alfredo and Fried fish. The homemade raspberry vin-egret salad dressing was the best I’ve ever tasted ( wish they sold it by the bottle ) The restaurant is very uniquely decorated and adorable. The owner is very nice and was a great waitress. Over all one of the best dining experiences I have had in many years. Highly recommend. Thank You

Only 3 groups of people in the whole restaurant and it was extremely loud. The building is very echoey. I could hear every single noise from every table. I couldn’t even hear my father across from me. Gave me a massive headache. Also very understaffed, and we waited a very long time even though there was barely anyone there. Food was bland. Pasta sauce wasn’t very good. And my father and I both felt sick by the time we got home. Food was overpriced too. Soda served in warm cans, with a glass of ice. Didn’t seem super clean. There was a water drip coming from the ceiling. Chandeliers were dusty. And smelled a little funny too. The waitress was nice, but will definitely not be going back :(

This is more then just a hidden gem. It's the whole treasure chest! This is what a restaurant is supposed to be. A warm and welcoming place to sit, relax and enjoy an overloaded plate of great tasting food served by someone who really cares about you! We left the parking lot already planning our next visit!
