I haven’t been here in a while and the place was almost empty when we walked in. We were greeted and served our drinks pretty quickly after being seated. We only ordered fries and wings but it all was delicious! We had 3 different wing sauces and each was nice. The fries were piping hot and the beers were cold. Nice experience! I will return!

This was my last meal in North Carolina, and it was mostly disappointing.
I'd ordered through DoorDash; my order was quickly made, so it was ready for my Dasher to pick up on arrival. However, a bit more time spent on my order may have helped to ensure my meal was better than it was.
I'd received fries instead of my choice of fruit, for one; this wouldn't have been an issue had the fries been good, but they were not (they did look appealing, but that was far as it went). The worst things about my order, though, were my very brown Caesar salad (see photos), and my nearly tasteless pink lemonade. I'd picked through the salad to remove the brown pieces of lettuce, but was so annoyed by the time I'd gotten it all (equal to nearly half its size), that I couldn't bring myself to eat any of it except the croutons (those were decent). I had to dispose of that and my drink, which tasted as though someone had poured water into a cup that had once contained pink lemonade - almost zero flavor.
The Philly cheesesteak was properly made per my special instructions, and delicious... so at least I had that going for me. It was also good cold, as I couldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting and had refrigerated it for a late dinner that night.
The sandwich and my Dasher, were the best parts of my order... plus the fact that DoorDash ended up refunding my entire order, rather than only refund for the bad and incorrect items. I just hope that didn't affect my Dasher in any way (DD said it wouldn't, but I have my doubts).
I was hesitant to try this restaurant, and had actually planned not to order in on my last full day in NC... but I took a chance and was pretty heavily let down. I have a list of places I plan to revisit when I come back for vacation; sadly, this is not one of them. Two stars for the delicious cheesesteak, and for following my instructions on the removal of one of its ingredients.

I went before and loved it. Tonight, 4/29/22 they were off their A game. No wine, no silverware, given plastic utensils to cut meat like ribs, people over drinking and vomiting on the sidewalk. The waitress was very nice an as attentive she could be during the increased people showing up. The host, seemed confused and possibly on a substance?
My prior visit, the food was excellent, the beer was cold, the service was amazing. It was a Thursday night.
I will be back because I do like this restaurant. Just hopeful they may make some improvements. 😀

Food was very good , wait staff was very good. Wait time was acceptable. Atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We were surrounded by unruly and constantly complaining customers despite the fact the wait staff did everything humanly possible to please them. These people should have been shown the door!

On the day that I went, the restaurant was not too busy, but the kitchen was very backed up. This was no big deal to me, as I understand that many places are short staffed, and our waiter was very kind and apologized several times for the long wait. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, I asked for the salad I ordered to be packaged to-go. After this, it still took about 20 minutes for my salad to be brought out. I then went home to eat and first realized that there was no egg or avocado on the salad. I was kind of disappointed considering how long it took to get it, but I understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen. After taking several bites, I then realized that my chicken was raw. I am very understanding of the difficulties restaurants are facing during the pandemic, but raw chicken is a major health risk. The chicken was cut before it was placed on the salad, so it is surprising that it was missed by the kitchen staff.

Giving 4 stars because the staff was amazing and tried her very best to make sure I was OK. She actually gets 5 stars (the bartender)My food was horrible but I also know that it's not always this bad. I ordered wings and they are the pre-breaded party wings and my fries were cold. Sent them back twice because they were not done well and second fries came out hot but very salty. I would say give them a shot and see for yourself because we all have our bad days.

I love ale house. I went to the Jacksonville NC location and it was amazing. So I decided to order take out for me and my wife. We don’t have a lot of money and this was supposed to be a treat. My order was to be ready at 10:30 pm (I ordered at 10 pm)
My order was for two burgers , a side salad , pizza for my son who is autistic and the respective toppings.
I waited over 1 hour and some change for my order. Mind you my wife and son were stuck in the car waiting this whole time. The poor hostess had to do EVERYTHING and they were drastically understaffed. I only saw one waitress.
I was kind and patient and upon getting home found my food was cold, incorrect, (they gave me plant based burgers, onions and other toppings were missing, fries were good but half were cold, and the burgers were unpalatable. The only thing that was correct was my Caesar salad and it could hardly be called Caesar as it had nothing on it hardly. No croutons, cheese or dressing. I have my receipt, my order email, and pictures of what I got. We spent 40$ plus for a 1 hour plus s*** show.

Food wasn't what I expected at all but customer service was great and the drinks. No real chefs in the back but the prices was set like the food was all cooked fresh. Salmon was very thin like it came out the pack and was $16, and the chicken tenders tasted burnt.
