Cafe Duo

Great local spot. Small, upscale ambience that provides an elegant yet casual vibe. We have been many times and have not had a bad experience. The service matches the ambience and is excellent. Love coming here for lunch and or brunch as well. The white wine sauce with their mussels are divine. The steak and frites were a special and tasted great, cooked to perfection room. My wife had the eggs Benedict and enjoyed them thoroughly. The chocolate soufflé is excellent!They also take their wine and cocktails serious. Not pictured here is their tomato basil soup which is the best around. Highly recommend cafe duo for any and all occasions. Cheers.

This was our first time here and it was outstanding! The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent! I had the Chicken Firestiere which was so tender you could cut it with a fork and had tons of flavor. My wife had the Filet Mingon which was also very tender and full of flavor. Although the portions weren't large, they were adequate. This will definitely be a place that we return to!

Unbelievable. 1st time visit and was looking forward to a great meal per the reviews I had read. Had reservation for 4 at 6:30. We arrived at 6:25 and were seated quickly. Server brought us water and told us the specials. 30 minutes later we left. Server never came back to even get our drink order. It was early and not very busy. You lost 4 customers tonight.

I called to ask about reservations and the person on the phone was very rude. I completely understand being booked and asked how long their typical wait is without a reservation. The man told me "he would not do wait times because he has so many reservations and large parties." I asked to clarify that they weren't going to take walk-ins tonight and he said "he would not guarantee anything and then have me come in mad at him." I completely understand being booked up and not wanting to "guarantee" anything, but that 1) wasn't what I was asking for and 2) he completely went about it the wrong way. I was excited to try this place, but will not be going based on this experience. It's great they're so busy that they can be so unprofessional!

First time here. Incredibly sad, we had not come here before tonight. Everything we ate was literally melt in your mouth good. Wine divine. We NEVER get dessert, yet did here because we could not give up the temptation after the best meal we have had in a restaurant. Billie gave us incredible service and the manager took his job seriously and made certain we had top notch service. Not that Billie needed any help in that area.

$$$. Katie, our server was exemplary. My 15 dollar burger would’ve been fair priced at 7$. our group enjoyed our time and the food as a whole, was enjoyed. But very few entree choices for a restaurant desiring a good reputation. Probably wont go there again. Pretentious, little substance in menu offering. Expensive enough to exclude us regular folks Not worth the money. Small portions , not particularly good tasting. Won’t go again if I can help it. Applebees was the only other one I never returned to.
