Basil's Restaurant

I've never had anything that wasn't delicious at Basil's. I went Thursday night and had a chicken and waffle sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was beyond amazing. I even dipped it in their ranch (which is excellent) and I highly recommend doing this. Such good food. They were very accommodating when I needed to move to a different area as well. I've eaten outside in the past too and that was also a fantastic experience. Great restaurant!

I and my family ate here for dinner. There was not too much of a wait and the charming hostess Crystal was very kind and showed us to our table. I ordered a large house salad with grilled chicken. The salad was very big and had a generous portion of chicken. My table also got a supreme pizza. That pizza smelled delicious and tasted even better. Basil's is certainly one of the best places in Greenville for pizza. My family loves to come her on the weekends for pizza ans their drink specials.

First time visit here. The inside is cozy and warm, and we’ve heard good things about the food, Menu looks appetizing- but customer service is not good. When we were seated, we were not helped, seen or even acknowledge for over 20 minutes. The manager seemed very nice walking around checking every other table, even circling around twice to our neighbor table, but no acknowledgement or help to us. We decided that we’d take our business elsewhere at the 27 minute mark and as soon as we left she turned around to pick up our unused items. she And her staff knew we were there and chose to ignore us until we left. How rude!

Ok so I’m late posting this review but the kindness this beautiful restaurant displayed to us will stay in me and my family’s memory forever. So last year, my brother died the day before our moms birthday. A month later, 11/20, we did a birthday makeup day for her at Basil’s. Hours before I went in and spoke with the manager and told her our story. By the time we arrived, they had a table decorated for us beautifully and sang happy birthday to mama. So I’m late sharing this but we’re still in awe of your thoughtfulness and our experience. Oh and let me not forget, food was AMAZING!!!

This was our first time eating here. We were there almost two hours trying to eat. Tables that came in behind us were getting their good ahead of me. The good was subpar. The bread was very good. No complaints on the bread. My entree of shrimp and noodles with Alfredo sauce was bland. A bit disappointing after a family member said it was good. Maybe another shot....
