Applebee's Grill + Bar

This is the absolute worst Applebee's I've ever been inside. Backstory... we are here for a death in the family and got into town late in the evening, saw family, then came to get food and go to the hotel. After stopping at several places (choices are limited as its almost 11pm) we decide to go here. The bathroom has standing water all over the floor. We (kids and I) literally couldn't even use the restroom and didn't even feel comfortable washing our hands. Food finally comes out and it's horrible. My chicken was burnt so bad it wasn't even edible and was still charged for it.

I am not a fan of Applebee's, I have had more bad experiences than good in the 20 years I've been dining there. However... This particular restaurant is the best one I've been to. We ate here at 9pm on a Sunday and had no trouble being seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. Our server Jacob was friendly, courteous and kind. Didn't have to wait long for our food, and it was cooked to perfection. Applebee's is a cheap date night with no frills. If you are in the area and you're hungry on a budget, look no further.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. We came in and sat down at 10 and it wasn’t until 20 minutes later our order was taken. We watched everyone else walk in after us, within minutes they got their food, paid and left. After an HOUR AND A HALF at 11:30pm we got our food- and it was not good to say the least. My friends’ pastas looked like they sat out for a few minutes and they brought me out the wrong thing. I hope no one else has to experience this horrible service like we did. It probably wasn’t the server’s fault- but do better Applebees on Congaree.

My girlfriend ordered food online. I picked it up and left. I realized that I didn't get the tea she ordered so I went back. Got to looking at the food in the bad and everything was wrong. One of the servers punched in the order again to re do it. After paitently waiting forever, she brought out the food. I was still missing 2 items so had to wait on that. Between ordering and finally getting the order 100% correct, this was over an hour ordeal. This is not the 1st issue with this location. It needs to be fixed or closed. There are way more options around and people will see that this type of customer service will not be tolerated.
