Olga is an absolute wonderful waitress!!! She is always attentive and timely making sure that your glass is full and you have everything that you need!!! My family has been coming to the cafeteria since I can remember. Olga has been here many of those years!!! Do yourself a favor and stop in and get you some good home cooked food!!! Well, it is about as close to homemade as you can get. The chicken pan pie is the best entree that they have!!! Thanks for always a wonderful meal!!!

The staff was very friendly and personable. They were great at tending to the table. Refills and so on. The restaurant was very clean and sanitary. The food was all fresh and delicious. Plenty of items on the menus to choose from. The restrooms were also very clean and functioning which was fantastic. There was no wait time. We were seated right away. We got our drinks fast after being seated. Once we ordered, the food arrived to the table in a relatively short time frame. The portion sizes were more than enough food and great for the price. You will definitely end up taking some with you when you go to leave .

Old school cafeteria serving traditional menu. Good selection of options from your old school menu line up. Fried chicken, chopped steak, liver and onions, etc. Nice side and salad choices. Everything was good. Like a hone cooked meal. Prices were reasonable. Older decor in the dining room, but kind if add to the experience. A nice stop for lunch.

Hands down, the BEST place to eat in Greenville. It's not fancy by any means, but you will get the best home cooked meal ever here. I've been coming to S&S since I was a child, well over 25 years. Now, I bring my husband & daughter with me & they love it too! The country steak with rice and gravy is my favorite entrée paired with squash casserole & a roll. Their fried clam strips are also a go-to. They have great cheap kid meal choices, which include jello!! You won't be disappointed!

I want to start out, by saying I’ve been coming here for years. The staff on the line are always friendly, professional as well as the servers. I took my elderly mother to eat there today for lunch. Got the fried pork chop (which was good) until I realized it alone was like 8.50. I got a salad which was so drowned in dressing I couldn’t eat it (they don’t offer chopped egg anymore, because they said the costs of eggs is too high) I think they need to reevaluate that, as they have come down. I got mashed potatoes, roll, tea, mine was like 18.50 or close to that. My mom got fried chicken which was so dry she couldn’t eat, they want nearly 6.00 just for that, green beans, macaroni salad, strawberry shortcake, tea and it ended up being a little over 33.00 before tip which made it 40.00 for lunch. I understand prices going up, but this is highway robbery for the food not to be as good as it normally is. Another couple next to us was complaining today about it as well.

5-29-2022 update: again the food was great and this time ... No Drama. A very nice evening eating dinner. 3-13-2022 update:. Food was good like always, however I didn't enjoy seeing those behind the food counter arguing at each other and having an attitude. I didn't get a vegetable with my meal because the lady was mad and walked off... Everyone else just stood there. Where is a manager when you need one!
