First time visit to Aldo’s on a rainy afternoon. Ordered a cappuccino and hot coca after asking about how their hot cocoa is made. Cappuccino was very good, but hot cocoa was the star! They make theirs from big chunks of chocolate and hot steamed milk. There are so few places that make any effort to craft non-coffee beverages, but Aldo’s makes a fantastic cup of hot cocoa! Had a great convo about roasts and beans for pour-over and French press applications, and found the new roaster (Rae?) to be friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about customer-owner interactions. Great pleasure to find an independent coffee place that cares about its products and helping customers with selecting the right roast for them. Highly recommend! Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was because we saw the state of the scones, which looked very sad, and then saw a couple return their scone, which had disintegrated into a large pile of crumbs. Baked goods at the end of the day usually aren’t very fresh, but these scones looked pretty sad. Hope they’ll consider refreshing those in the afternoon in the future.
Nice garden with views of the marina, good service and not-too-strong coffee. Inside is more industrial since they roast right there, but still nice for chatting or working.

Delicious cappuccino with oat milk and a chocolate croissant to die for. Also on the water in beautiful, quaint Greenport. A great way to start the day. Very busy so have patience. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

I love the espresso. I buy he decaffeinated version to use in my moka pot. I know. Italians do not drink decaffeinated but for health reasons I must as I cannot enjoy American coffee. And truly love the taste of Aldo’s Italian decaf. Try it before you condemn it.
Aldo is a charming gentleman and I love seeing him when he is in the front of the store.
I’ve enjoyed his biscotti but truthfully I love my homemade assortment better. But his are very good too.

November 2023. New owners. I recently purchased a bag of the decaf espresso as i had in the past when the namesake owned the store. New owners do not know how to roast so that there is not a sharp bitter taste. Awful doesn’t sound strong enough. Wasted over $22. on this.
Coffee is the freshest you will find. Aldo gave me a brief lesson on how to grind and brew my coffee. After that day I never looked back and my espresso has never been any more perfect. Thank you, Aldo. Cheers
Outstanding latte and scones. They roast their own beans and do baking on site. This is true coffee. I am a purist and I insist on a real cup. They understand.
A+ for Aldo’s! Love to make my own cold brew at home with their Bali Blue Krishna. Placed an online order on Sunday night, received my coffee on Tuesday morning. Don’t sleep on the biscotti, chef’s kiss!
I was walking down the street and the aroma of delicious roasting coffee beans pulled me to this establishment. I looked at the long line and almost turned around. But the aroma of the coffee was so delicious, I decided to wait. It took about 10 minutes, but the wait was definitely worth it. Every cup of coffee is made fresh and was delicious. Try their Sumatra blend. DELICIOUS!
best Italian coffee on Long Island!!
Absolutely the best coffee ever! I live in Indiana and always make a point to stop in for a few bags before I come home. I love how finely ground the coffee is and the smooth taste. I tried the Tanzania Peaberry this time, Loved it!!❤
