Small, but good place. Not a lot to choose from on the buffet, but what is there is delicious. If they add more to the buffet, then it would be a solid 5 for me.

Budget Sushi for Craving Compensation. My wife and I have gone a few times now to this place, and what can you say that hasn't been said? It's love it or hate it, based on your own tastes. If you favor food at a good value that's always decent but not "fancy", this place is great! If not, you're going to be disappointed. We love it, because we can get cheap sushi when we're craving some on a random night for $10. And frankly, as my wife is currently working on finishing her Doctorate, you can GUESS money is a little tight at the moment. If I had endless money, would I prefer to go to more upscale sushi restaurants with fresh, perfectly plump, tender, juicy, flavorful bites of sashimi dipped in-

Anyway, the sushi here is more comparable to what you'd buy from a grocery store like Kroger, but for the price, that's more than okay. Though, really the sushi is the winner here. I wouldn't say if you're a fan of "Chinese" buffets, this place is going to win out over other places, as it's not. It's the fact that their sushi is better than most buffets, with more variety. Though I do love that the rice is in a sealed container to lock in the moisture. That's a nice plus. But still, the Chinese buffet is a nice supplement to the sushi for us.
I've never found the place to be dirty any of the times we've gone, but it's not upscale, so anyone who doesn't enjoy a simple quaint restaurant will probably first go to thinking that it's dirty.
Loved it!. Don't let the word "buffet" scare you. The food is actually high quality. The sushi is made in house at the sushi bar that you can see when you walk in. I had a dinner buffet and a pot of oolong tea. Food was fantastic. Excellent dumplings. Excellent terriyaki chicken. Excellent everything. Oh and Blue Bell Ice Cream included with buffet. Go...go now! Hurry!
Awesome! Very clean and neat, not a large buffet but what's on it is top quality. Pretty much the best atmosphere/experience I've ever had at a Chinese buffet! Highly recommend it.
LONG TIME AWAY. Had not been here for awhile...very good...fact better than it had been...I highly suggest the jalapeno roll...they were the first around with this Texas delight...still the best
Return to Asian Top. We used to visit the Asian Top about 4 years ago. Whenever I went to DFW Airport, The buffet is always fresh, clean, and well laid out. It was pretty quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices on the menu. My partner and I usually decide on the buffet. I predictably choose the Egg Drop Soup. It is incredible. Another place I would give a 9 out of a 10

Asian buffet calling.... There are those times in your life when Buffet just fills the spot and Asian Top is one of those. It has a small sit down sushi bar, general buffet, and a standard menu to order off of.
In all my visits we order the buffet that includes an entire row of Sushi. They typically put out eight or nine different types of sushi. This will include salmon, spicy tuna, California roll, and many more. If you are sushi snob this is not for you. However, if you have a sushi hankering and generic stuff will do- well my friend belly up...
Next the Buffet covers all the standard bases. They usually have the standard soups of hot and sour and egg drop. Next is the standard cuisine and that covers things like orange chicken, beef dishes and many of the yummy standards like steamed and fried dumplings, egg rolls (heavy Chinese style with cabbage.) They usually have crab on the weekends (no promises) and often a few interesting things like frog legs and fried chicken.
Favorites for me is the fried dumplings, egg rolls (best broken up and dropped into hot and sour soup,) crab rangoons, orange chicken and second course is sushi. The hot green tea is Jasmine (standard) but goes well with dinner. They have an entire row dedicated to desert and ice cream but if I am eating at this place well that for the kids to cover off on.
Staff has always been wonderful and very polite. Considering the heavy traffic the place is always very clean and the tables are spotless. The place is not very big and sits in an strip mall but they do the business.

They say "don't judge the book by the cover "right? This is a good example, the place need a good update but the most important thing is the FOOD! If you like Chinese food or Asian this is the place for you, good flavor , plenty of different dishes and a awesome sushi bar included on the buffet. They do delivery too! Affordable prices , come hungry and leave satisfied! Great family owned business.

We stayed a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge and were looking for an easy delivery option so we didn’t have to get out. I called Asian Too Restaurant on a whim & staff was incredibly helpful! Delivery quick and right to our room- the food was AMAZING and the prices were great! We will definitely order again next time we are in town!!
Asian top is definitely the best Asian buffet around for sushi lovers. The selection and quality of the sushi at Asian buffet is far beyond any other Asian buffet we have been to. When we lived in grape Vine we were here a couple times a month. We have moved further out and still when we get over that way make sure we go here. They have a decent selection of other hot food as well but for us this place is about the sushi. Also staff is great and friendly. I would only take away a star based on atmosphere of the dining room as it could definitely use some updating.
We have just recently became aware of Asian Top here in Grapevine and I have to tell you that they are the most accommodating staff!! We were trying to call in a order, but the phone system was not working properly, so we showed up almost closing time and they had no problem with making our meal and ensuring it was correct. I even forgot to add an item and added about five minutes later and they were so willing to do so. I really do enjoy excellent customer service, and this is it. On top of that their Foods pretty great as well! :-)
