Cafe Italia

Had dinner on the patio at sunset when the weather was nice. Chose this spot on a whim and so glad we did. We chose the stuffed mushrooms based on other reviews and they were amazing! The sauce was so great we dipped our bread in it. Then I got the tortellini Michael Angelo and my husband got the tortellini vodka. Both were divine. We were the only ones seated outdoors but they were so nice to accommodate with an a tasting of crustinis due to a delay of being served. The wait staff's etiquette and follow up were very impressive. I live 30 minutes away but will most definitely be coming back.

Good spot for Italian that usually hits the mark. The restaurant is small and cozy, and kept pretty clean. The staff is friendly and quick, but sometimes seems stretched thin for their tables. The dishes, while not always the most aesthetically appealing, definitely have some flavor. The house dressing on the salad felt just a little too close to cocktail sauce for my taste, but was still enjoyable. The eggplant parmesan is absolutely smothered in marinara sauce, but cooked well enough that the eggplant still stands out.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here and it was a very memorable evening. The service and food were top notch. We enjoyed Daniel who kept up with our big groups needs and our food server Nico ( I believe) was great too. He ended our meal with some magic and we were all full and happy! I highly recommend this place.

This was by far the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten at! From the moment we walked in we had nothing but amazing customer service. Our meal started with warm homemade bread and smooth butter. Then we ate bruschetta that was excellent followed by stuffed mushrooms that melted in our mouths! Our table ordered Tortellini Michael Angelo, chicken Marsala, Veal Jerusalem, and Manicotti. Our salads were fresh and delicious and the meal was fabulous!! Just when we thought we couldn’t eat more we ordered Tiramisu and was again raving about the food!!! The environment of the restaurant was clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. We were catered to by Albert and felt like we were the most important customers there! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Remember to BYOB as they do not sell alcohol :)

OhmyGOODNESS!! I’m in town for a conference at the Gaylord, but went rogue and decided to find some place uniquely Grapevine for dinner. Cafe Italia caught my eye as a quaint little space so I popped in… And I’m so very glad I did!! House tomato basil vinaigrette on the salad = YUM #1! Tortellini Michael Angelo - in pink vodka sauce = YUM #2! And the limoncello for dessert??? Oh my heavens! That was YUM #s 3, 4, and 5! So much goodness in such a tiny treasure! Ever so happy I ventured out!!! Highly recommend!!

My girls and I wanted a girls night out with amazing food. We got dinner AND a show with Nick and his amazing magic show!!! Nick was an amazing server, but he really wins the best server award in my book when he bamboozled us with his amazing magic tricks! Nick was easily the best server I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Thank you, Nick, for such a lovely experience!!
