Sweet Tea Express

This my first time coming here. What a treat, the place is sweet with friendly staff, the food is so delicious, awesome taste. You order up front, given a number for your table for your food to be delivered. We had a jalapenos burger and a teriyaki burger, with homemade buns, fries and love their homemade ketchup, as well.

We had an epically disappointing lunch today. Came in the place was not busy. We ordered our food at 12:02 and then sat down at an open table to wait. There were a few other people that came in and all got their orders fine. The host was walking around asking everyone how things were, but never once stopped at our table, it felt like he was avoiding us. Finally, nearly an hour later I had to ask where our food was. It had been sitting on the counter since 12:19. There was no offer to remake our now gross and stale food. The brisket is chewy and the hamburger sat so long the bun is mush. We spent nearly $40 on this and it's only 2 meals. I'm beyond irritated and I will not ever patron this restaurant again.

I enjoy the flavor of the bbq and the meat is always good. However, the sides were deplorable. Hot bbq ribs put on top of cold macaroni salad was disgusting. Large chunks of raw onion, the salad was warm due to the ribs. The fries just thrown in and a mess. We’ve had this restaurant before and it’s been much better. Not sure if we will go again though. Disappointing.
