The best, most affordable sushi around. We've been here probably 10 times before, had a wide variety of their rolls, and they have been amazing every time. Philadelphia Roll, King Crab Avocado Roll (both in photo), Mango Lover Roll, and Dragon Rolls are favorites.
VERY fresh sushi. If you like traditional rolls, you can not beat their fish quality. Very clean and never fishy.
Friendly service and good choices. I tried the tempura shrimp roll, and it only had one piece of shrimp in it as far as I could tell, in the end piece. Maybe there were more throughout the roll, but if there were, they were not tempura battered. Was fresh and good tasting, but I was disappointed in the shrimp.
I am NOT a sushi person, but my son ans his friend loved eating here. Very happy with selection and price.

Sushi Market takes the win for me for the GR down-townish area. Generous portions, fresh fish and very quickly made to order - akin to drive thru fast.

This is my favorite lunch option in Grand Rapids (downtown area). I like being able to get in and out quickly, and the two-roll combo is $9. There are a lot of options. My favorites are the spicy tuna and Philadelphia rolls. The ingredients are always fresh, the employee working to take orders is always very friendly, and they are efficient and quick.
I also noticed they have a handful of rolls that can be made gluten free.
Local guide tip: Downtown Market offers first half-hour of parking for free. You can also access the Downtown Market using the free DASH bus.
