Always wonderful! Laural always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience and meal. She remembers what drinks we want and brings them out fast. She is very kind and makes coming in to dine always a pleasant time.

Let me tell you, this place has the best dollar to calorie ratio you can get anywhere. I would 100% recommend the Classic Combo sampler, for $15 you can get your daily intake of calories and more. I’m talking boneless wings, 4 mozzarella sticks, chips with spinach dip, and a whole chicken quesadilla. I mean get in line there’s already one out the door cause everyone is ready to get their own Classic Combo. No need to order for the table, the whole table can order one for themselves! You’ll be eating so good, you’ll never want to leave the neighborhood.
Not giving 5 stars based on communication. If it's ok to sit at the bar, shouldn't sit here for 5min to have someone to offer a drink/menu. Appreciate the follow up. That kind of attn is worthy of praise :)

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Late Night Bite with Room for Improvement
My partner and I stopped by Applebee's Grill + Bar on Grand Ridge Dr. in Grand Rapids for a late-night snack.
While the burgers were decent, the appetizers left something to be desired.
The pretzel sticks had great dough, but the excess salt made them almost inedible. The queso and mustard sauce were both low on seasoning, and the chips and queso also lacked spice and had again too much salt.
Overall, the neighborhood double burger and the quesadilla burger were decent, but still lacked any standout flavor highlights. The fries were also just okay.
We would recommend Applebee's Grill + Bar to those looking for a quick late-night bite, but there's definitely room for improvement. If they can replace some of the excess salt with more flavorful spices, it would make a big difference.
Emma Green is the best server to walk the earth. She is so kind and funny and genuinely a great human. She went above and beyond and met all my needs! Get this girl a raise. If I could I would make her my best friend. Her energy is beyond any imagination and she will make you laugh guaranteed. I would tip her my whole bank account if I could. If every applebee's was filled with servers like her, every other restaurant would go out of business. Thank you Emma! I hope you get a raise and everything you want in life! Applebees also has amazing food and its better with Emma serving it.
Went out to lunch w/ my mum and the staff was super nice and the food was really good. I had a meeting just before the food came out and they waited to bring it out for me till I returned. Best place every
Britney was amazing! She was working the bar and also serving us and did FANTASTIC! We never felt abandoned or had to wait long! Food was awesome and we had a great time!
Always a solid choice for Americana food. Nothing overly special. Just an "average " neighborhood bar and grill. The service is always great and friendly. And the food IS tip notch for what it is. Have been before and would come back again. A solid 8 out of 10
