Southern Fish Fry was a delight! The fish and chicken were both delicious and seasoned wonderfully! The staff was friendly and their food was priced great! Overall I loved my experience and would go back in a heart beat!

1st Visit: Yes, first, because after that there will be more. Lady running the place when I went it was amazing and helpful. I didn't see exactly what I was looking for on the menu so just kind of gave a vague description of what I wanted (kind of like a sampler platter of the fish) she asked a few questions on seasoning, fry types etc and was off. 10 mins later she came back with a basket of fresh hot fish and a side of fries! All for 6.50$! Doesn't the local coffee cost more than that these days?
Anyway, 6.50$ the fish was amazing, the season was amazing, the crust was perfect, the fish was flaky and juicy and perfect and the "lunch basket" was just the perfect amount to NOT knock me out for the rest of the day while still filling me up. Also, I'm a big criticizer of most tartar sauces and usually have them throw in another sauce on the side just in case. I'm here to say, theirs definitely stands alone. It's a winning sauce. This place is doing everything right and like the review started, there will be future visits!

The best rib tips in town! My husband and I also ordered the perch, hush puppies, banana pudding, and lemon cake. All of it was delicious and made with love. And the owner is so nice! We will definitely be back.
Authentic southern taste, the fish and chicken were both packed with flavor! I've been coming here for years, and my food is always made right and on time. Carol and her daughters are some of the nicest ladies you will meet!

My Wife and I were in town and wanted some good fried fish. We ended up googling and choosing Southern Fish Fry. We both got the catfish nugget dinners. They were made to order fresh, well seasoned , and delicious! We also got the lemon pound and caramel cakes both moist and delicious as well. The service was EXCELLENT! We definitely will be going back!
I had a craving for a really good fish fry and this place didn't disappoint! Even with take out the coating on my catfish was crisp and the fish moist and delicious! I love that there are a variety of seasoning flavors to choose from just to keep things interesting. This little place doesn't look like much at first glance, but it's our best little gem of a find!
Hidden gem.Its not just fish.All cooked from scratch.From the 5 hour slow smoked BBQ rib tips and brisket slathered in there signature house BBQ sauce to the fried chicken. I promise you will not be disappointed.
I have wanted to eat here for a long while and tonight we stopped. During they day they serve fish which is what I originally wanted but the bbq turned out to be fantastic. We ordered the rib tips, pulled pork sandwich, fries and a side of Mac n cheese. It was all really really good. The staff was so friendly, we will definitely go back! ππΌππΌππΌ
