Friendly and attentive staff , fast ordering speed. Came here after watching the Womans World Cup at nearby Rosa Parks Circle. I ordered a Bahama and Wild Hot dog combo with potato salad. I was impressed with the spiciness of the jalapenos and hot sauce of the wild hotdog ( they do give you the option of not putting on the jalapenos or hot sauce ) and the Bahamas dog had a sweet taste to it

Tried Slaw, Coney and Ruben dogs and they were great. It would be perfect if they did fries because with all the ingredients they have. The fries could be just as fun. Definitely if you have the chance, stop in and try them out. I will be back again

After ice skating for hours across the street we were HUNGRY! It was fast and made to order! The staff was friendly and the food was great!

This is a magical hole in the wall gem that should only be entered after having multiple alcoholic drinks. I normally get the Colby Dog and Mad Dog and depending how bad of a decision I'm trying to make I'll add on a third wildcard dog. It's an absolute must for me after a long night of bar hopping whenever visiting Grand Rapids.
Love this place! I used to come here years ago. The new owners are doing a great job, expanding the menu, and possibly selling beer in the future!
This place is great. The staff were super nice and the food is great. I got a cowboy style dog and it was great. I love how you can pick different styles or build your own from their extensive selection of toppings. They also have a pretty big selection of "dogs" including different kinds of sausage. Would highly recommend
This place is the BEST!!!! We use Door Dash a lot at my job, because we only get a half hour for lunch, which isn't long enough to always go out grab a bite to eat. Every time I have placed an order at The Dog Pit for delivery, it shows up PERFECT! Never any mistakes, and never forgetting part of your order. Their attention to details is outstanding! I had an order for multiple people, and in the additional comments, I asked them to put people’s names on their order...and they did it without any problems. If you're a hot dog fanatic like me, you will love the Dog Pit! I just wish they were open later into the evening!
For the majority of my time eating here, I have a had a wonderful experience. Lately (2019-present) I have come to face more and more less enjoyable customer service. I am now experiencing a "get what you want and get out" feeling versus the usual "I want you to enjoy everything" experience. The food quality has not changed, but the personalities behind the food has. That is the only reason for me dropping a star. Please encourage employees to respect the people that pay their bills, not just to tolerate them.
