Absolutely love the Cherry St. Deli. Really well crafted sandwiches and salad. The menu is very extensive with choices that I'm sure someone will find something they enjoy. I love their pastrami and corned beef sandwich selection as well as the houseman sandwich. Nice place for outdoor seating as well. I would highly recommend.
Very good subs! I got #90 with Ciabata bread (out of pretzel buns) and no pickle shreddies. Staff were very nice. Big bunmer that they are closing their store in about a week.
Once again Cherry Deli did not disappoint. A TON if options all organized on the menu by proteins (also vegan, veggie, and GF options if those suit you too). Wait time is a bit long but sandwiches are always yummy and service always friendly. Order at counter. Sir inside or out. Low key place.

On a Saturday afternoon, we enjoyed a vegan sandwich (which, inexplicably, was smaller and more expensive than the other) and a meaty sandwich. Both were delicious, but we wouldn’t go back. My dad uses a walker, and they have no entrance he could use to get into the building. We could get to the patio using the driveway for the business next door, but they don’t have a waitress, so I’m not sure how he’d have gotten served if I hadn’t been able to go inside to order.

I love Cherry Street Deli, the food is always fresh and prepared from the hands of god himself. I recommend “The Eastern” if you want your tastebuds tap dancing for the duration of your meal. I could type 25 more paragraphs about the deliciousness of the damn cookies but I won’t.

All I have to say is this deli has over 100+ sandwich combinations including veggie options and their staff know ALL OF THEM by name and number. The food is good, I personally like The Virginia. I've eaten there at least 3 times and will continue to support them!
I like this place a lot. The bread they use for their sandwiches is great. They have many vegan options that are super savory and filling, they’re not just full of boring vegetables. It is perfect stoner food. The BOGO half off between 3-6pm makes it a good option for a date. It is a little bit pricey for what it is, but they deserve it. It is earthy, warm and honest. Please support this business and keep it alive because it is a really good alternative to popular sandwich chains.
I sincerely love this place. The sandwiches are amazing, service is friendly and usually efficient.
Soups change daily and are usually quite good, but they always have a vegetarian and vegan option. They always have white chili chicken as well.
There literally dozens of sandwich options. My favorite is the Logan, which comes with jus and is delicious. You can get half sandwiches (half the meat) or full - half is more than enough for most.
Salads are decent and well-sized.
You can call ahead, take out, or dine in. Pickles are available upon request.

I AM BLOWN AWAY. My mom and I were in Grand Rapids 4 days and we ate at Cherry like five times. This food is phenomenal. With such extensive vegan and vegetarian menus AND loads of options for those who eat meat you really can’t go wrong. I tried a different sandwich every day and was thrilled with each of them—I genuinely believe I could eat here once a day for several years and never get sick of it. Today is my last day in town and I am sincerely grieving the fact that I have to presumably live the rest of my life in a city where I can’t eat sandwiches from Cherry Deli every day. I’m from Indianapolis and I can genuinely say that at some point in the future I will probably be making the 4 hour drive to Grand Rapids just to get a sandwich from here again. I get that I’m sounding a bit hyperbolic, but just eat here. You’ll be happy.
