Found this gem amidst the miles of chaos of shopping choices along 28th Street -- just across from TJ Maxx. What a find!!! Lots of choices, huge portions, affordable, healthy, and absolutely flavorful and delicious! Plus, a friendly staff and clean restaurant. Totally our go-to spot now in what's otherwise a sea of gross, fried, and tasteless chain food. Thanks Pita House! We will be back!

Pita House has been one of our familyfavoritese for years, and for good reason. Whether it's their mouthwatering gyros, hearty bowls, or fresh salads, they nail it every single time. Honestly, everything on their menu is a hit, and I can't recall ever being disappointed. If you're on the hunt for consistently great food, I wholeheartedly recommend Pita House. It's a must-try!
We came here with our family to celebrate a birthday. Mediterranean food was New to most of us. Time was taken to explain the variety of choices. The food was absolutely delicious and also a good value.
We sat on the outside deck. It's a little bit noisy because of 28th Street, but it's not right next to a parking lot where cars are pulling right up to your table. I would go back in a heartbeat.
This place is great! Fast, fresh food. It is nice to find something similar to the Middle Eastern you can find in the metro Detroit area. I’ve only had their falafel sandwich, which they cook the falafel to order right there!
We made a pit stop here tonight after running errands, and we were not disappointed. My family has been on a gyro kick lately, and this definitely will be added to our rotation. They do not currently offer dine in serving, but you can get in and out of there quickly. The picture is of a traditional Sami gyro as well as a side of fries. Definitely recommend.
Counter serve Mediterranean food. Delicious gyros, fast and friendly service, and the staff are the best. Large portions. Great for takeout!
This is absolutely the best gyro in town. Everything is made to order with all fresh ingredients. Something for everyone on the menu. The staff is very friendly. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!
Despite some of the bad reviews I was craving a gyro so I decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed the gyro was delicious and huge. The building is small with only a few seats and the ladies behind the counter were very nice. It's set up like a build your own with plenty of choices. I Would recommend giving it a try decently be back when I come to town
Food was ok, but expensive with portions being too small. We ordered 2 bowls with chicken shawarma and a sandwich, all 3 ended up not enough for lunch for 3 of us.
Got the veggie platter and the veggie pita to split between hubby and I. It was very filling and tasty, and staff was knowledgeable about helping us find vegan options. We will definitely be stopping in again!
