I've enjoyed this place for years, and it's been around much longer than that! The food is very satisfying (I recommend the T.B.C sandwich), and there's live music on Thursday nights, but get there early! The place gets extremely busy and it's rather small. Until October 8, it also houses Art Prize 9 pieces, which adds to the unique local charm, and enhances conversation!
I had a great experience here! I brought my dog along with me and he was allowed in the outdoor dining area. The hostess and waitress were very kind and brought an actual dog dish for my dog to have water. They also brought him a complimentary marrow bone to chew on while we ate. It made me so happy to see a restaurant that caters to people who enjoy bringing their dogs downtown. The food was fantastic, too! I'm definitely going again!
Great food and service. It is worth the wait for the food. However, my only critique for the chef is scale back on the butter please. But it was still an amazing meal. It was evident that the staff was busting their ass. For there was only 2 servers, a bartender and it seemed that the older gentleman was the owner. He was out cleaning tables which was good to see. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was eclectic and unique.
We stepped in here for a cocktail so we didn't order food and sat ourselves st the bar. The staff was welcoming and the bartender created a drink for us on the spot which we loved. Love the decor in here, the wood is beautiful. We will definitely be back.
Cute little place in the heart of downtown. Patio is dog friendly and they give pooches a bowl of water along with treats. Staff is kind and keep checking on you to make sure everything is good. We had the custom pizza, spinach feta dip and the martini which were all great. Definitely a must visit while in grand rapids.
It was crowded but the place was cool. The food was so delicious, chicken risotto and the drinks too. Waitress was really nice. Kinda expensive.
Food was delicious, great appetizers and nice beer selections. Wide variety of options, a little crowded, but the large group we had all liked their food.
We enjoyed our server and the lobster roll was delicious! The dogs had fun too.
I haven't even gotten my food yet and this place is already awesome! The live band is playing jazz and sounds just like what I would listen to in the 80's on WLAV's Jazz Brunch on Sunday mornings! Beautiful!!
Pretty great! The staff is friendly, space is clean and comfy, and the food is tasty and unique🙂
Great food, venue for intimate live music. Fantastic a
Shrimp and grits and date appetizer delicious. Only problem server said one of the soups was kale and chorizo sausage. We both ordered it. When it came, there was a very dark almost black liquid in the bowl. She left before we could taste it to see if it was and unusual recipe for kale and sausage. Turned out to be shredded beef beans and mushrooms. Friend liked it, me not so much. When the server checked back, I suggested she was given the wrong information by the kitchen. She asked if we liked it and since one of us did, she left. I think servers need better training.
