Review Paisley Pig Gastropub - Grand Haven

So good! Had to find a place with gluten free, vegetarian options as we were passing through and got really lucky with this place. The Buffalo cauliflower app was great and I had the quinoa power bowl which was also delicious!

Paisley Pig is a super cool place. The ambiance and service are great. The real standout is the menu, which has a lot of unique options. Things like Crab Rangoon pizza, seafood nachos, and crispy duck and waffle. We did the Nashville Hot chicken waffle sandwich and the Birria Quesadilla. The Nashville hot was good, but not hot at all. The Birria Quesadilla was also good, but was closer to brisket than Birria. But it was all very tasty. We also got the cheese curds, which were square. Never seen that before. Overall excellent experience. We'll definitely be back to try some of the more oddball items.

We rarely go here because they always look so busy. But don't let that steer you away! I now regret all the time we skipped out on this place! First off, the big ol glasses they give you for your drinks are awesome! I drink water like a fish and they didn't have to come back every 2 minutes to refill my glass! Our waitress was fantastic. Super friendly and super speedy. We ordered the Seafood nachos and they are absolutely to die for! But beware! They are totally enough for a 2 person meal! I was so satisfied with the seafood nachos that I didn't want my lobster roll to come out! But I'm glad it did because it was packed high with huge chunks of lobster and crab. REAL lobster and crab might I add! I could barely eat half of it. I wasn't a fan of the onion rings. They seemed pretty overcooked but that's nothing compared to how amazing everything else was. My partner ordered a double mushroom smash burger and it was ginormous! As well as super juicy and delicious! I think we found our new favorite place to eat!

Absolutely lovely experience. High quality local ingredients combined in interesting ways to make the most delicious and memorable food and drinks.

All 4 of us enjoyed our Reuben sandwiches & fries to go. We also enjoyed watching the robots in action while waiting for our order. Update: Returned to Michigan four months later & brought in a party of six. A wonderful time was had by all, thanks to the stellar service of Sarah <- she's a keeper! Food was excellent. Update 2: Back in Michigan again. Discovered that the Greek Wedge is delicious! Something to look forward to on our next visit!

At first I wasn't sure how this experience was going to go as it took a few minutes for anyone to greet us and a couple more to be seated, even though it was a somewhat chill Sunday afternoon, but it was all up from there!! The service from that point forward was awesome, and the food was even better!! Their whitefish dip was top notch with a great variety of bread and crackers to put it on. They have a number of vegetarian options making it hard to pick as they all sounded so good, but I settled on pizza and am happy I did!! My wife also loved her beet and pineapple veggie burger! We will be back again for sure šŸ˜Š

This place has some of the best food around. To start we had the pulled pork nachos which was enough to share at a table of 6 adults and 2 kids (we reserved ahead of time online and table was ready on time) The alcoholic beverage selections delivered. You could actually taste the alcohol so you know you weren't getting ripped off šŸ˜‚ For the main course I chose the fried chicken which was melt in the mouth. The gravy that went with it was very good. The green beans had a great flavor to it...there were no complaints with my meal at all. My friend got the Dill pickle pizza which was entertaining to see on the menu since not many places have it. We didn't have room for dessert since everything was so filling sadly. I think the best part was the cat robot that delivered the takeout food to the front haha. So cute! Staff was also super friendly. When I visit Michigan again I will for sure go back here again.

Everything was fantastic! They got us in earlier than our reservation. We had a build your own pizza. It was delicious and huge!

Amazing food, The service is fast and friendly, the menu is extensive. I love the sweet potato.

I definitely recommend this great gastropub in Grand Haven. It was a busy night, but we got in easily with a reservation. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are divine! I'm not usually a sweet potato person, but these are worth converting for. The dip they came with was also really delicious and unique. The brisket burger was tasty, but the brisket was a bit overcooked and dry, fortunately it tasted so good it made up for that. There are also plenty of drinks to choose from, but do note they have nothing on draft - everything is in bottles/cans.

We are in love with this place. So much so that we ordered the Thanksgiving meal for 4 that has to be the best thanksgiving meal that I've ever had. My wife absolutely devoured the bison meatloaf and wouldn't share a taste with me. She may have growled. I tried the pizza and will order it again.

My oldest daughter loves it here. It's decent, but a bit over priced for what you get. In my opinion, the food could use more attention to detail for It's price point. Things like burgers aren't very difficult to cook to order, but here, they always over cook burgers. Just an example in my experiences. I will say, they do some itsm menus, better than others and we do enjoy this restaurant. The price just urks me a bit.

We came here for my bachelorette party and we were blown away by the service here. We were quickly seated with a reservation. Adam really set the tone and was so generous behind the bar for our entire group. The food was so quick and the drinks were delicious. Our waitress Sophia was excellent and so kind. We had a blast and it was a highlight of our trip. Definitely will return! šŸ˜Š

So far, this is one of our new favorite spots. To be honest, Iā€™m surprised at some of the critical reviews Iā€™m seeing on here because every time we visit (at least 1-2x a month) the food is great, and the service is excellent. Weā€™ve gotten Izzy as our server on multiple occasions and sheā€™s always right on top of it. The pub fries are fire! I highly recommend these ā€“ they might be some of the best fries Iā€™ve ever had. I also like to order the ā€œI Like Pig Buttsā€¦ā€ pizza, which is unusual for me since Iā€™m more of a ā€˜traditionalistā€™ when it comes to pizza. Itā€™s usually relatively busy and in the summer months they have outdoor seating. They're a 'gastropub' but I can't comment on the booze selection. The environment is casual, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The parking lot is a bit of chaos since itā€™s right next to a Culverā€™s and I think some sort of hotel? You can usually find parking but be prepared to maneuver around since not everyone is always paying attention.

Came here a few years back with family, loved it so knew I had to come back this year since my partner and I were staying in the area on vacation. Absolutely delicious dinner Wednesday night, the bison meatloaf is out of this world, the gravy is just mouth watering and perfect for dipping the mashed potatoes in. Green beans also great, just a delicious meal. Partner enjoyed the wagyu pub steak and all the sides it came with as well. Excellent service by Sara. In fact we were so impressed, we came back Thursday for lunch after a nice swim at Rosy Mound Nature Area and before we made the trek back home. I had to try the lobster roll and this thing is just PACKED and I mean PACKED with meat. Impossible to eat in one sitting and SO good. Partner got the fried chicken and that too was fantastic, nearly cleaned his plate and again a ton of food. For my money the best restaurant in Grand Haven, never had anything here that wasn't fantastic. Thanks to Katie for the service today. Wish we lived closer but will always stop here when near the area.

Great lunch out with my mom, who ate burrata for the first time and genuinely savored every bite of it. My "Great Lakes fish and chips" was cod, which the server made me aware of and appears to be a supplier (not a restaurant) issue, so no problem there. Service was a bit perfunctory especially to my (elderly) mother, which was unfortunate given the restaurant was not extremely busy on that particular day. I hope it was just a one-off because the kitchen is great.

I was really excited about trying this place, my son ordered the pub burger and was delicious but we paid $3 extra for having literally 4 onion rings! Iā€™m giving it a 3 stars also because I ordered the poke bowl and was exactly what I was told, sushi in a bowl and it was ok but had very little tuna for the price of the dish! I also tried the soup of the day that I was recommended by our waitress and it was over salted and croutons in it were stale you couldnā€™t even eat them! Well give it another try with some other dishes! The staff is really nice!

I went to this restaurant with three other friends for dinner. The kitchen was being updated/remodeled so they had a small menu. The smaller menu still had many options to choose from. I had the burger. It was done perfectly as I ordered medium. They had a large wine list along with beer and other alcoholic beverages. We sat in the bar which was quiet and comfortable. We had a server who was knowledgeable and answered our questions. I will definitely go back.

Saturday evening, the place was packed but we had very little wait time. The hostess and our server were both very friendly. The Paisley Pig BBQ sandwich was one of the best I've had. I highly recommend it.

We went for a late lunch around 3:30 p.m. Food took forever and we only ordered salads and sandwiches. The onion soup was delicious but small portion. The pub salad sounded good with bacon but arrived with hardly any on it. And the name of the place is the Paisley Pig! It was the plainest salad I've ever had and wrong dressing. The jackfruit sandwich was interesting and good but the potato chips from a bag were stale. Little disappointed. Not sure I'd go back.

Had an amazing meal on Sunday! We almost ordered the whole menu with 6 of us at a table. Chef even came out to say ā€œHi!ā€ Loved the unique beet - pineapple veggie burger!

The food is fabulous, I have eaten here twice now and both times my food was fantastic and fresh. The staff is great. Wonderful place to dine.

Beyond amazing food! I had the baby back ribs, which were so tender, with Brussel sprouts, baked corn and corn bread. I ate almost every bite, and Iā€™m not the type of person to do that! It was just sooo good I couldnā€™t stop eating! I live in North Muskegon and it was well worth the drive to Grand Haven!

I had higher hopes for this place. Being a vegetarian there are not many options but the pizza and jalapeƱo corn bites are good! Always takes a while to be seated and to get food.
James Thorne
We went there on the 13th. The soup was great. My wife loved her turkey sandwich. Now for the bad the wait was over an hour. Once order the food took forever. I ordered the flat iron and it was way undercooked it was well season but because it was so undercooked very chewy. I cooked flat irons down south all the time and this was very unacceptable. Also not having beer on tap seems wierd for a pub.

Love this place, every time we go the food is never short of amazing, the service is fantastic, and just the whole atmosphere is above and beyond! I tell all of my out of town friends that when they go to grand haven, the paisley pig needs to be their go-to dinner/lunch spot!

Friendly staff, great service, awesome pizza, killer craft beer selection.... Who could ask for more?
Andrea Butler Koontz
Order the I Like Pig Butts and I Cannot Lie pizza. We got it without the ghost pepper chili sauce and it was fantastic, but feel free to get the hot stuff of you like it hot. Either way, itā€™s probably the best pizza weā€™ve ever had.

The ribs fell off the bone! Sweet potato fries were perfect. Amber A. was very informative on the menu and local area. The bar manager came over to ā€œcreateā€ a drink for me and it turned out great!! So ask for the ā€œKelly Martini ā€œ its awesome. Canā€™t wait to go back!!

Great atmosphere, amazing food, & excellent service by Alex. I was very impressed with the childrenā€™s menu, as well. My family & I will definitely be back soon to try the dinner menuļæ½
