Simple and small, with great food and good beer. 4 local beers on tap, great selection in the fridge. We had the brisket, the polish sausage, and regular hot dogs for the kids. All the food was served hot and flavorful. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Food was just okay, beer was good, but for some reason the proprietor felt it was appropriate to bash our president to us while we were eating. We've traversed the entire country this year, from east to west and north to south, and we don't go into places and bash their president, because it's rude. Not sure why she wanted to make her customers feel unwelcome.

A great place for food and plenty of TV's to watch sports. Beer selection was good and food was quick and tasted great. If in the neighborhood I would recommend stopping in. The Ruben I had was fantastic. They also have games along the walls to play. This is currently a cash only establishment so bring some greenbacks or use the ATM they have in the corner of the bar. There were alot of locals in the bar when we were there for lunch during the work week which also told me this was a great spot.

Went to get a few drinks got ignored for 30 minutes so we left. Would not recommend going to eat there. And good looks like most of it was microwaved.

Service was excellent. I’m from Philadelphia and stopped on my road trip to Yellowstone, and this place provided everything I was looking for and more. Pat was impressively knowledgeable of the area and a pleasure to talk to. The owner (Pats dad) was also as nice they come. Pat suggested the Reuben with a side of home-made mustard and it was fantastic. Prices are great and beers are cold. Don’t be intimidated by the outer appearance, stop for a drink and food!

Was passing through along the way to the PNW. Amazing food - we had the nachos, bacon cheeseburger, and reuben. Also had some good beer on draught. Friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone.

Established in 1947 the Beer Jug has seen a few owners through the years. Taken down by fire 🔥 and rebuilt. Its about to change ownership again as son takes over from Father Mike. Good people good times! Enjoy Life and Glendive at The Beer 🍺 Jug.
