We stopped here serendipitously today and I was so impressed with the range and selection of food. The sweet selection was incredible and we ordered a walnut pastry and an almond tart. Both were delicious! The savoury hot deli smelt incredible and we couldn’t pass it up. We ordered a potato ball that had a bolognese inside, and also a big chicken meatball. We loved them both. Can’t wait to return.

This place is amazing! My go to when I’m sick for the best most authentic borscht ever, the must babushkas in the back making it. My son has loved their pastries since he was little and always enjoyed picking a few out every weekend.

I love this place I've been going there since I was a little kid I remember the little train that would ride alongside the edge of the ceiling... You can really feel the Armenian hospitality every time you come in everyone so welcome and very helpful! You can find almost everything here from any Armenian pastry to the most amazing Armenian food Hot and ready just a way to my grandma used to make it!

Love this place. Very clean. Nice staff. Great food. I generally go for the lamajoo (probably not spelled correctly) and boncheek (also probably not spelled correctly) and lunch combos (spelled correctly). Great stuff and don't forget the Armenian coffee!!! Woo hoo!!!!!

Exactly as if you were in a middle eastern version of what a French pastry shop would be like -- going there just to see this is worth it, and the pastries and breads are good. The "quarter"nut cake with fruit for $30 is the star.

It’s not only a bakery, it’s a delicious warm deli, too! I started ordering here after two friends suggested I get pastry but discovered the deli section. The pastry is delicious, beautifully presented and masterfully made. The tables outside give this place a European vibe where you can enjoy a bite on the go or spend some time. The deli section is just enough to entice you for fresh home made meals which although mainly Armenian are so universal in that they have meat, rice and vegetables. Prices are reasonable and portions are for famished appetites. Soups and calzone type pizza are delicious. We’ve been coming here for years but only decided to leave a well deserved review today!

If you are looking to get embarrassed in front of your guests by the pastries you decide to buy for your little Sunday coffee gathering, this place wont disappoint you with their hard rock, old, disgusting selection of sweets they offer since World War. The First one! They win that category with 5 star. I bought 5 pieces, trash ate one of them. Please save yourself the disappointment and embarrassment and go to Portos Bakery. Fresh, delicious, professional customer service. Ps. I feel robbed by giving them 1 star…

Decent european pastry, pastry and lunch spot. In my opinion it's one of those places at the pastries look better than they taste, but the few cream items I had out of the case several Napoleon's were just acceptable. The Armenian stale bread over look very good in fresh and the selections for lunch look tasty. Also Middle Eastern Armenian selections mostly. It has a few tables inside to sit in a few tables outside. The weather in Burbank Glendale is almost always perfect so it doesn't matter where you are. The interior of the place is gleaming White marble and the pastry cases will Dazzle you with appearance. It's worth another try to sample other stuff out of the pastry case maybe more exciting luck the second time.
