Excellent food! Second visit here. All was good however we didn’t get our food for about 40 minutes… ordered breakfast. We found out one of the cooks had walked out. It happens. Have no idea what the circumstances were. We’ll still go back for great food!
As soon as you walk in, the delicious smell hits you. Food was super yummy. Will definitely be back
The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because I didn't have enough avocado. Not even half of one...other than that food was good.
Whenever my daughter is in town, we go to this biscuits because of the servers. Do not get me wrong, the food is phenomenal! Yet, we sit with Nicole and Wes every single time and they are perfection! Funny and kind service and amazing suggestions! We love coming here for the service and phenomenal food!
Whenever I am at lifetime fitness I start craving breakfast, and this is the closest. But for a year, I avoided this place and went elsewhere. I finally took the plunge, and even brought my mom.
First off, our server was wonderful. He was nice and patient with us. Wish I had gotten his name.
Our food came out quick. We had ordered pretty basic breakfasts.
- one biscuit and gravy combo- I haven’t had biscuit and gravy in over 10 or 15 years, so I have nothing to compare this to. I enjoyed it.
- Belgian waffle combo- my mom said the waffles were good, but she her sausages were a bit dry.
-chocolate coffee- Delicious!
Overall, a solid place to grab some breakfast.
We live on 59th and 101 but we go to this one all the time because of the amazing service. Nicole and Wes are such fun and attentive servers. We always have the most fun and best time with them. We have never had more amazing servers! Love them and the amazing food!
Weekly it’s become a welcoming routine to dine at the 67th Ave. cafe, just before getting my workout at an equally well-run establishment next door (Lifetime Fitness). Nicole & Wes, especially, serve me consistently with extraordinary kindness and hospitality. This couple have a way of making one feel they’re in another time when family-styled restaurants were the norm. I recommend both the restaurant and its special servers to anyone looking for a home style experience. The Encourager, John K.
I am a regular at this restaurant and have never had bad service or bad food. They are always pushing out hot, fresh food pretty quickly. The service is always with a genuine smile. The one and only complaint I can muster up about this place is they they don't have grits on the menu. If that happens, this restaurant is perfection!
This was my first visit here. The staff was wonderful, the food was good, and the atmosphere is cozy!
I don't eat much, so when I go out it's sometimes hard to find something on the menu that's just right. The build your own breakfast was perfect for that and it doesn't break the bank! I'll definitely be back!

We had a lazy Sunday morning and decided to try this place for breakfast. The service was wonderful and so was the food. They offer both takeout and dine-in right now. Not sure but I think they had a curbside option too, but call to verify.
Given it was a Sunday, we arrived about 8:45 and were promptly seated. The serving staff were polite and efficient. My coffee cup stayed full and hot. They brought water refills without being asked. After our meal was served, we were asked how everything was within about 5 minutes then left to enjoy our meal. Attentive but not in-your-face service. They have sugar substitute, I picked splenda, and sugar free syrup, which they warmed for me.
The tables were spaced well and there were little placards placed on the table letting the hostess know when it had been sanitized and was ready for the next seating. A nice touch.
Now about the food. Delicious! First up was the country omelet which was a very large portion and packed with a delicious sausage and bacon filling. The hashbrowns were crispy and seasoned well.
Next we tried the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was tender in a crispy battered crust. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, not too runny.
Homemade sausage gravy, I am pleased toSplenda, even be better than my own. The biscuits were soft and golden brown. The homemade strawberry jam was a pleasant surprise too.
As a side, we had two pancakes. Thick and fluffy with just the right amount of texture. Not gooey or mushy like some other restaurants.
We finished off with a side of fresh fruit. Chopped strawberry, orange, pineapple, grape and cantaloupe in natural juices.
We will definitely be back. 12/10 stars
