Golden Chick

For fast meal at fair price this place never fails to make the grade. The food is consistent, flavorful and fresh. The staff are very kind and efficient. Wait times to both order and receive food is perfect and they do not mess up the orders. Aside from fact that ice cream machine seems to be perpetually broken and they could use someone to clean up more?;Really enjoy going here.

I ordered a Chicken sandwich and a cup of water. On the receipt I saw that the cashier charged me $2.99 for the cup of water. When I asked if they always charge customers for a cup of water, she said yes. So I am leaving this review here because that is the first time I ever experienced that at any restaurant in my life. The Chicken sandwich was pretty good though.

The chicken was inedible to my family. It tasted to us like the oil was rancid, or had been severely burned, as in something was burned in the oil tainting everything cooked afterwards. I called the store and notified them of the situation. They may have known, as it appeared the employees were doing a thorough cleaning of all the chicken cooling racks. I expressed my desire for a refund to my card. No such thing has happened in the last four days. I live 40 minutes from this location, so it's not worth driving back to resolve, but I will be notifying my credit card company to reverse the charges. To anyone at Golden interested, I still have a box of worthless chicken if y'all want.

Arrived to this store around 9:30 on a Tues and the order taker couldn't be more unhappy for my arrival. No hi how are you, just a curt what can I get you. No thank you here's your total just a what did you want... ok...sorry but I'm not wasting money at a place where the order takers don't understand that without orders they have no job. It's called basic customer service and this place doesn't hit the mark.
