Phenomenal Ribs

The turkey tips were suuuuuper dry!! I go out searching for turkey tips and these are THEEE dryest in Northwest Indiana. Their tips are made with the white meat vs the dark and you can NOT overcook tips made white meat. The flavor was on point, but they were too dry. I always request the sauce on the side because I like to taste the authenticity of the meat. I am glad because the sauce was like eating straight sugar. They do make their fries fresh and they are homecut with the skin. I may not be back. Only time will tell.

This was a little below average, had the tip link combo and chicken wings and tips and chicken hot links. Tips, needs to be more tender. Sauce is too thick for my liking Hot links were extremely dry on the inside, Chicken wings were decent The Chicken links were pretty good. I like the fresh cut fries. Just too many items that were below average for me to give them anything above 2 stars.

The restaurant food was absolutely terrible, ribs were dry and overcooked, almost like leather with sauce. The chicken was extremely overcooked and overpriced for the quality of food I was given. This place should be named leatherback ribs, almost chipped a tooth trying to chew through the ribs, and I actually sliced my gum with a bone that was in the rib, there was no rib in that whole plate that was tender, I also had a ton of hard bones in my plate, not gristle, BONES. The chicken was nothing short of just plain bad. Dry, flavorless and doused in sauce to mask the dryness. I want my $38 back!!!! Buyer beware!!!! Also the links were like bricks, dry and burned!!! Does no one (business wise) in Gary know how to cook decent ribs, links or chicken!!! This place for me is a one and done, never again!!!!

Good tips and fries. There are 2 cut outs so they should have a order here and pick up here sign. The guy taking my order wasn't very friendly but was nice to the other customers who came after me, so customer service is lacking. They should also have a menu posted on the wall so you can see what they have available. They have a cooler in the front so they definitely should have drinks or desserts displayed.

My son told me about this place. While visiting for just a day, We stopped by. I tell you, I've been in ATL 7 yrs now. OHHH how I miss out back home food. Their rob tips are 'Phonomenal'🤗👏🏾😋😋😋😋😋🍽️ We packed and flew back home. I shared with family there. We all were licking our fingers. I love my tips a lil burnt😂 They didn't disappoint me. These places in ATL don't know what a rib tip is🤦🏾‍♀️😪 For me, There's a few places when I come home I must hit. Ray's Lincoln's, 5th ave. Tacos and Edwardrodo's pizza. I'm adding Phonomenal's to my list.🤗😋😋😋The sauce, You'll lick Your fingers😂👏🏾🤣👏🏾 Phnomenal come to Atl and Cartersville, Ga. You'll be rich for sure. Oh fry and sell some fish. They DONT know how to do that either.😤 Nothing like back home food. There's a wait where ever u got now. But u don't mind when IT'S WORTH WAITING FOR🤗💜 BJLMILLER

Let me start off saying that my food, which included rub tips and grilled chicken, was very good. However, my complaint is the professionalism of the staff. I attempted to call my order in, my call was answered and I was immediately placed on hold. I was on hold for 14 minutes listening to orders being taken, conversations between staff but no one ever returned to the phone. I was still on hold when I walked up to the counter. I informed the lady who waited on me that I tried to call in my order and she gave an apology. Ordered grilled wings, which I then find out takes 45 minutes. That turned out not to be true. I ended being there for about an hour and 15 minutes. I mainly stayed to see how this was going to play out. One of the male staff came out and I informed him what happened and he apologized and offered me a pop. While sitting there waiting, I listened to 2 different staff members have personal conversations on their cell phone. The male was so bold he was leaning on one of the counters you order from talking as he was looking at me it turns out he was the one grilling the wings. I have never experienced anything like this and truly not sure if I will return.
