First time ever to Louie's On Main, but would definitely recommend it to friends as a place to go for drinks and bar food! Was there for a private party, the food was great, service was excellent! Could not have asked for more!
Out this evening with Johnnie, Val & my wife having dinner! Louie's on Main St in Garden Grove the best steak sandwiches ever! Great service as usual always a good time when we visit our old stomping grounds. We always receive great food and superb service when at Louie's. This place is Highly recommended!!!
Relaxing atmosphere. Good food. Friendly Service. A sizable variety of beers from their brewery. A fun place to hang out with friends or a casual date. If you go on Fridays, you'll get to see the classic car show, right outside, on Main st.
Man. What a great little place ! Super cool vibe. Awesome food. Great selection of drinks and beers on tap. And Amazing service ! My burger was cooked to order, perfectly! I got the Sombrero burger. I will definitely be visiting again, soon.
We went there for 1 drink before the concert at the Garden Amphitheater. We ordered a blue Seltzer, and it was so good we ended up staying for 4 rounds. So we got a pastrami sandwich, which was also incredible. Great place, excellent food and drinks! Highly recommended it.
I always get nice, friendly service here. Now that they have added patio dining in front of the restaurant, it is even more welcoming and relaxed, especially on a day with beautiful weather like when I was there. I had the coconut shrimp and fish tacos. Loved them both! The fish tacos are larger than what other places would make.
One of my favourite go to places!!!! The best food, anything you order will be amazing. 30 craft beers on tap. If you like sweet drinks I highly recommend the strawberry lime cider. There’s a cool car show I front of the restaurant on Friday nights, we always have a blast. It’s very clean, the service is great amazing staff and my favourites are the chicken wings, shrimp and the sombrero burger!

Every time I’ve been to Louie’s on Main, in Garden Grove, it’s like walking into Cheers! Everyone is friendly. Customers and staff seem to know each other. The wait staff knew what my friend wanted. It’s a friendly place. Now for the food! I am a burger connoisseur! Louie’s has an excellent cheeseburger! The taste and the way it looks is simply perfect! What is a burger without fries? Louie’s has great fries. It would be worth it to go for the fries alone; but coupled with their excellent burger, you’ve got a sublime meal. Today (2/10-22) a you g man named Aaron served it. He was so amiable. His service is impeccable; and his smiles made me feel like I’m know at Louie’s too. Go to Louie’s, you’ll not be disappointed as the drinks are great their too!
The price and quality of the food is perfect here. They make their sauces in house and I'm not sure if it's just the cook that was in the back when I came, but that was the best coconut shrimp I've ever had in my life. 10/10 recommend.
This is truly the local watering hole of downtown Garden Grove. Prices are for the most part fair, but before warned that it does get fairly crowded especially on Friday afternoon and evenings when they have the weekly classic car show. I recommend the whiskey sour. Don’t forget to look around you at the wall for the special drafts.
This review overdue, my girl and I found this place a few months ago when outside dining first reopened, I should mention I'm a connoisseur of a good Cuban sandwich, when I noticed they had one on the menu I had to go try it. No problem saying it's probably the best I've had, and that includes from strictly cuban places I've tried. Cuban with the feta Fry's ....... Delish!
I will say that to go is not quite as good as eating it fresh there, which is to be expected. That still hasn't stopped me from ordering to go about once a week minimum. Also great cocktails, super friendlys helpful staff. All around good choice.
