Wow. Just flippin' Amaze-balls!!!! I am a bit of a Mexican food snob. I was super skeptical going in. I hadn't seen any of the rwviews, or researched myself (my friend did). It's tucked into an small strip mall you would expect a standard taco shop to be in. However, this is a million percent above a standard taco shop. It's NOT a taco shop. It's an amazing little, top-notch delicious restaurant that just so happens to be disguised as a taco shop! Service was absolutely fantastic. Friendly table service from 3-4 different staff (host, server, and more). Refilling drinks, chips, etc. The chips are fresh made, as well as both salsas (hot and mild). The hot had such a unique taste, and I'm hooked. We ordered carne asada fries, so good. Fresh cut fries. Beans are made with peruano beans. Carne asada was obviously fresh and marinated with their own recipe. Street tacos were super good too (chorizo, chicken, carne asada is what we tried) Very tender meat. Chorizo was lightly spicy, lightly sweet as it should be. And finally, Ohhhemmmgeeee the tamale!!!!!!!! Holy cracker-jacks!!!!! Very big. I ordered pork. Extremely tender meat. Just meat, no weird fillers. The masa was so super moist, but not doughy. I personally don't mind doughy, but this was not. It literally melted in your mouth. I could taste the broth in the masa. The food presentation was very much like a fancy Mexican restaurant that you would expect to pay $20+ for (which it's not. Prices arw extremely reasonable). I live in San Diego, and I swear I want to drive up there just to go again. I can't wait!!!!

Stopped by while in town and got the Carne asada fries with Diablo sauce in the side. They were delicious! The ingredients were fresh and there was plenty of toppings. Bean sauce they had was so soft and creamy and the Diablo sauce was bomb (slightly spicy, if you're used to really spicy food). Server was very friendly & pleasant. The place is cute, nice atmosphere, they had kumbia music playing which was nice. There's 8 or so tables inside, no outside seating.

We were on our way to a play when we saw Sabroso! and we are so glad we stopped. Parking is super easy and free. When we were there it was not crowded, but it was a weekday. We were seated right away by the nicest person. Our server was kind and knew the menu well. This was our first time coming so we did have a few questions. The place is super clean and really cute. The food is amazing. We had some of the best nachos and their guacamole is so so good. Their rice and beans are tradition Mexican fare and very tasty. We loved their steak strips and the tacos were awesome. The prices are reasonable for the area. We will be back.

Looking for new places and found this storefront restaurant in a strip mall - the front door was open to invite us in. Small, clean, with festive decor. We are Food Network fans and we’re surprised to see Guy Fieri and his DDD squad had been here. Great sign!!! Sam S. was a cut above when it came to service. He was infinitely familiar with the menu and made outstanding recommendations. Sam gave us an exceptionally awesome extra warm spicy salsa, as well as, regular and spicy - all delicious with fresh chips. Very authentic generous portions. The chile verde was very tasty, their delicious soups arrive in enormous bowls and their peruano beans are magic. Imagine your neighbor’s abuela (grandma) is cooking; just an abundance of great comfort food clearly cooked with love.

This was our first time coming here and we had an overall great experience. The location was really busy and we had to wait about 40 minutes to seat four people. The food, atmosphere, and service were very good. We ordered a variety of wet burritos and everyone enjoyed their orders. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

We picked this place at random from google maps. We walk in and see that it was on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We immediately knew it would be good. The food and service were beyond good. The flavors of every dish were insanely delicious. The staff made recommendations on what to order and they were spot on. Everyone was so friendly and always smiling.

First time here, and it was actually very good. Attentive staff and they know what they are doing regarding service and food quality. Firstly, the doors were slightly confusing to go in, but just read and you'll know which door to use lol, we were seated promptly as it wasn't too busy. I had the ul(t)imate fajitas, the wife had a Carne asada both with all the fixings of rice and sour cream and guacamole etc. on the side. Very tasty, and reasonably priced. Ok, that's it, stop reading this and go try their food !!!

Guy Fieri must have reviewed this place as they have a poster sized photo of the guy and also a painting of him. Service was quick and pleasant. We ordered what the waitress recommended. Carne Asada, Chili Verde and Beef Mole. These dishes have quite strong flavors. Much like highly spiced Indian curries. Authentic Mexican dishes in my opinion.
