Poparella's Gourmet Popcorn

I love this place so much. The different options of popcorn and candy provides a one stop shop for all our party needs! Highly recommend!

The Best Popcorn Anywhere! I am bound to take some heat for making such a claim, but come at me! I will die on this hill! POParella's popcorn is amazing and the many different flavors and combinations available means you will never get popcorn fatigue. My favorite is the Original O. The perfect, and I do mean perfect, combination of freshly popped kernels, slight buttery finish, and a hit of delicious popcorn salt. This is the popcorn you will crave above all else. The "Dill" flavor is tangy, salty, and has the perfect vinegar hit to push this flavor toward the top of the list. I will say, I am not a fan of sweet popcorn, but I have tried multiple sweet popcorn from here and if caramel, chocolates, and sugary treats are your thing, POParella's does not disappoint. The prices range from extremely affordable for more basic flavors like the original, to "Oh, that's interesting" for the more complex flavors and mixes, but there are plenty of size options available for any budget. The store itself is quaint and charming, located in downtown Frisco Square. You will feel like a kid in a candy store when you walk in. If you have any questions about the flavors, the staff are more than happy to let you sample before making a purchase. In addition to popcorn, they have other treats like fudge, cookies, and cake pops. There is also packaged candy and drinks available. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the shop is tidy and smells amazing. For those who prefer to stay socially distanced but still enjoy the amazing popcorn and treats, delivery is available of Uber Eats (not sure if available on other services) as of this writing.

Purchased the chocolate and butterfinger fudge. I thought the fudge had a nice texture and flavor to it. My wife disliked the butterfinger fudge and butterfinger candy is her favorite. It didn’t really taste like butterfinger but I still enjoyed it! At 4$ for a small piece of fudge I was hoping to get a little bit more for the $$. I would consider buying it again but more as a once a year type of thing.
