Zeni-Ya has the best chicken salad you will ever eat! Absolutely addicted. Since moving back to visalia I get zeni ya everytime I come into town. It fills you up with a delicious flavor combination of Romanies shredded chicken cilantro wonton strips and their secret dressing! If you haven't tried it yet you really need to! Although everything else on the menu is fantastic you will notice at lunch everyone is eating the chicken salad!! Don't be afraid to order it spicy or with extra wontons or dressing

Chicken salad is so freaking awesome, and I'm not really a salad person. Everyone who goes here gets the salad.

DELICIOUS. This place is awesome. They only take cash to keep cost down. I love the ramen soup. The salad and sushi is decent as well. I drive over 10 miles to eat here and love it each time. PS if you dont have cash they will take a check

Zeni-Ya is located in the Southwest Cornwr of a shopping center on the corner of First and Nees in Fresno. The dinning room is smallish but adequate. They have a menu with a variety of Japanese food.. Rice Bowls, Sushi, Soups, Noodles etc. Most folks will probably go there for a rice bowl. I have had both the chicken and the steak bowls and both were very good. I have also had Inari Sushi which was average. Word to the Wise.. They ONLY accept cash!! This is a bit of an oversight in 2010 but I would not hold it against this establishment.
