This one of the 5 star ratings that makes me wish there was a 6th star option. The owner and the staff are all clearly passionate about what they do. The food was unbelievably delicious. Every one of us had a fantastic meal and cleaned our plates. It's so hard to find Italian food this good!! The pasta is made in house and you can certainly tell. It was delicious and fresh tasting. Giorgio was a gracious host and very polite and friendly. Our server Tom was extremely knowledgeable about the food and how it's prepared. He was also very upbeat and friendly. He had great suggestions and terrific service. The live music by Jonah was perfect. Not too loud. Just enough to make the atmosphere enjoyable and make you feel like you truly escaped for a night on the town. We will definitely be going back and my only regret is that I didn't discover this restaurant sooner. This place is a gem and we're lucky to have it in Freehold!
We hosted my daughter’s baptism reception here! The food is amazing and the service is incredible! It is so nice to have such an incredible place so close to home. We will be back for date nights and future family celebrations! Georgio the owner and Tom/Andrew are so accommodating. They even handled ordering the cake from a local bakery, which was delicious too! Thank you for a perfect day.

Amazing authentic Italian food and dining experience. The food items on the menu are flavorful and satisfying. The staff are extremely courteous, cordial, and professional.The ambiance is very family-friendly.
I have been there twice already and look forward to going back there again.
Traditional food, good service and a really good place for the family. Although the portions are not huge (it’s for one hungry person) the pasta is homemade. Also they offer BYOB. They also have nice specials. Would very much recommend.

This place offers a few outdoor tables along several storefronts on the narrow sidewalk and, now, inside dining at 25% capacity, as mandated by the state. Our party of four opted for outdoor. The staff wear masks.
Other than taking a while to get our breadbasket, we cannot complain. There was bread with a tasty and thick marinara and plain served with a nice garlic infused oil.
We started with a calamari appetizer and thought the accompanying sauce was perfect.
Our meals consisted of a sea scallops and truffle risotto, the Mario & Lisa fusilli calabrisi, the Farfalle all' Ammiano and a daily special of pasta with a wild boar ragout. You can order sides separately, but the portion sizes of the dishes are much larger than my pictures convey. We were truly impressed with the flavors and combinations. This reviewer's Farfalle, which is in a "secret family sauce," was incredibly delicious. The sauce was light, but extremely flavorful, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dish. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert although I was looking forward to the daily special cheesecake. Perhaps on another visit. And we will definitely revisit this place.
