Roy Rogers Restaurant

Was really in the mood for a chicken sandwich. That was cured after the first bite.bdiscarded that. The fried chicken was fresh and the right amount of crispy on the skin and juicy meat. Probably some of the better friend chicken I have had in a long time. The fries were fresh and crisp. The usual side of old bay was available at the fixing bar. Lettuce, Tomato, onions were all fresh too. They don't have the newer soda machine we enjoy so much. But the classics were all available. Clean, well lit, friendly staff at the counter. Would definitely stop back in... But avoid the chicken sandwich.

Seriously, a first-rate, fast food experience. The manager and front staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, were extremely neat and well maintained. The restaurant itself look great, and the food matched the appearance. We had dinner and dessert and everything was fresh, cooked right, and very good. I have not been to a lot of Roy Rogers but this was easily one of the best experiences we have had in years and would recommend this particular one to anybody looking for an affordable meal for yourself or your family.

First time out in Maryland, born and raised in MN, been all over the US. First time hearing about Roy Rogers, ordered two bacon cheeseburger combo with fries. Can honestly say one of the worst burgers I've ever had, they are pretty much on par with those hot and ready burgers at gas stations, very bland, not juicy and nothing on it. The fries were even more disappointing almost like it's been left overnight and refried. Avoid.

I love Roy Roger's but they disappeared in my area. I can honestly say the fried chicken was spot on. Until I went to Frederick Community College to teach Asian cooking did I find a Roy Roger's. It was exactly what I remembered but better. The staff was professional and courteous and the premises was perfectly clean!
