Kittiwat Thai Kitchen

Super delicious crab rangoon! I literally have to make sure to get enough for my whole household. I tried the pineapple fried rice on another trip, it was ok. Love the Thai tea. I love the presentation, and how you can decide how much of each ingredient you want in your tea. The tea ice cubes are a cute addition. They have excellent customer service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. That's in person or on the phone.

So I had my first experience at this restaurant about three weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing granite I came in probably an hour before closing. The service was amazing and fast I mean we sat down ordered had our appetizers within 10-15 minutes our main courses came immediately after I dropped a fork and it was like seconds later I had a new fork on the table. And the alcoholic beverages are amazing I had one drink I couldn’t even tell it has alcohol in it at all. Highly recommend if you want to try Thai food or just eat some amazing Thai food here in Frederick.

I really like this restaurant but one bad thing about this menu is “SPICY BASIL” and “SPICY BASIL FRIED RICE”. Had this issue two times whenever I order Spicy Basil fried rice I was given Just Spicy Basil. Then I called to confirm the response I received was both are just the same, you can mix it up and eat. 🤬😡. You either need to give training to the waitress over the phone to confirm again or you guys need to update the menu. Overall I really like this place and food. Just sharing My personal experience. This one of the most inconsistent thai restaraunts ever, sometimes you'll have a decent experience, but the food never comes out the same way twice, whether it be every noodle stuck together in a giant ball, undercooked or overcooked pork belly (seriously have never had it cooked correctly from here). Pad thai and pad ki mao have a 90% chance of ending up in one solid mass, dry, or fused together. There are other thai places in frederick and I would suggest any of them over this place, kittiwat's food is bland and boring comparatively. The panang curry from here is too sweet, without the oil on top that you would see from a real thai curry, I recently had that same type of curry from a thai place downtown and was immediately taken back by how much better it was. I feel like kittiwatt has hit an all time low and I certainly don't want to eat here again.

Great small family restaurant in the back of a shopping center. We arrived 45min before closing (3pm) for lunch. Still they were welcoming, friendly and although transparent about the kitchen closing soon, didn't rush us. My gf ordered a Thai iced tea (pictured) and it came out in a unique presentation, deconstructed! Equal components of simple syrup, coconut milk (substitute) a carafe of black tea and ice cubes made of herbal tea. So we quickly ordered two more! There were 3 of us, two got lunch specials which come with complimentary appetizers and I had a ground pork with lemongrass and chile special, that I also chose to include a chicken lemongrass soup. And I could have drank the broth as my bevie! Seriously that good! The food came out fast, tasted fresh not reheated and very filling. Other than our mixed dumpling app ($15) I thought the price was reasonable about ($15) each. If you're near the area I recommend not letting the strip mall fool you and trying them out. I will definitely be attempting to copy the deconstructed Thai iced teas at home!
