This restaurant, located in the Bavarian Inn Lodge, looked like a lovely place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the various wonders of "Michigan's Little Bavaria". Designed with the same iconic charm as The Bavarian Inn, Oma's really does have the cozy feeling of being in Grandma's kitchen. During the day, it even has outdoor seating for guests that would prefer to enjoy the fresh air. It was too late to sit in the dining room when I visited, but the kitchen was open for take-out, so my group got a pizza with Basil, Pepperoni, and roasted garlic. It took about 20-30 minutes, they called us to come down to pick it up, and the server even gave us utensils and plates with our order. It was quite delicious. 😋 Oma's also has a breakfast menu, and is usually open for lunches/dinner hours as well. Overall it was a great little eatery. I enjoyed my visit there!

During our 3 night 4-day trip we ate here four times. The Reuben egg rolls are really good but not consistent. The first time the egg roll was stuffed with filling the second it was underwhelming with almost no filling and much thinner than the previous nights.. I ordered four of the Superman shots throughout my stay and every time the consistency was very off. All were delicious but the first time I paid $6 for exactly one shot glass full The other three times I was given about a shot glass and a half which I appreciated but inconsistency issue. Forgotten bacon on the burger, forgotten sauce for the burger, forgotten silverware or plates, forgotten applesauce for my son's meal instead they gave fries ( which he doesn't eat) The haystack onions are extremely greasy. Food was decent but almost every time we ordered something was wrong, however we did not complain because we did not want to wait for replacement items when our family wants to eat together. Staff is friendly. Food is moderately priced. Would definitely choose this over the other restaurant on location.

Wonderful first time here. MK server was very nice, friendly, and on the ball. Had no problem giving her a bigger tip. Didn't even as her the usual question of meaning of tip. Will definitely be back, and would highly suggest to friends. Their food was yummy beyond what I imagined. My Stuffed Peppers were amazing. My friend even bragged to friends on phone all the way home to Grand Rapids, Michigan how the chicken was juicy, and the veggies were the best. Very filling.

Our waitress was very friendly, even though she was busy she was able to communicate with our party of 6 professionally and with warmth. There is a wide menu to order from, and everything our party ordered was tasty. Prices were very reasonable. I would come here again.

Disappointed to say the least... No staff so they are only doing take out orders that you can eat in dinning room. The food was a even bigger disappointment. The Reuben egg rolls are the worst, the meat tasted bad and the homemade thousand island dressing taste like may with some pickle relish. They are so worried about COVID and they have menus sitting at bar to order from that person after person is touching with no cleaning in between, I see no germex anywhere near. I know all are not worried about COVID but what about the fact it is flue season. We spent $90 got two appetizers a pizza bottle of wine and a flight of beer. Both appetizers were not good and the pizza was just mediocre. Expensive lesson learned.

All the food we had was made from scratch. It was fabulous. The root beer and giant pretzel were both out of this world.

The food wss pretty good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Ruben Egg rolls appetizer was so good I would order 2! Of course the chicken dinner always rocks! Worth a visit and a second next time we are in town.

We went to Michigan to visit with family and they happened to live near Frankenmuth. So, the only place open for breakfast, was Oma's. It was the first time I had potato pancakes and they were outstanding! Everyone enjoyed their food as well. The service was great, staff was friendly too. If you want a great meal, do head to Oma's and as the sign states. "Gluten Morgan"!
