Historically I have considered this brand only mediocre for MI breweries and would pass them over for others in stores. Visiting the Brewery was totally excellent! I enjoyed a wheat wine before realizing I was ordering off the to go menu, otherwise I would have tried a flight. Still got beer to go too. AND everyone was super happy w/their food from Beef tips to Street tacos, and even Vegan options!

Great location and beautiful inside area. Display of the brew house makes it look even better. Super service with a smile and eager to server. Our party of four enjoyed both the brews and the meals. Great place to stop and have lunch or dinner while visiting historic Frankenmuth located right on the river.

Spacious brewery and restaurant with a view of the river and close to downtown. Menu was more limited than previous visits but the options were tasty and the beer was delicious as always. We had the spinach and artichoke dip and the hand rolled pretzel for an appetizer - would high recommend the pretzel. For main we had the cheese steak and pulled pork nachos.

Been to town for years and this was my first time here. They have a great selection of Beer to match all tastes. The appetizers are great! I ordered the nachos and came with plenty to share around. Also have a nice gift shop.

My wife and I went here for dinner and overall it was a great experience. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife ordered the cuban sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food. You get a lot of food and the prices are very reasonable. Our server was constantly checking on us to make sure we were happy. We did end up coming back here before we left and I would recommend it to others. Also if it happens to be a nice day when you come they have a nice patio area that overlooks the Cass River.

The hefeweizen and dunkleweisen are among the best German-style beer in Michigan! The pretzel is warm and perfectly coated with light salt, came out fresh but a little overcooked as noted by the color and the top half being crispy while the bottom was soft and delicious with the beer cheese. Would avoid the pizza with chicken at all costs because it was beyond dry to enjoy.

The saving grace here is that the beer is actually high quality. If you like multi-layered, have their Brown Hound Dunkel, which had that (not sure if this was their style so don't quote me) bourbon aged quality to it. It was truly remarkable.
Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the service here. It took 32 minutes for my beer to appear at my table after ordering it.
