NEGATIVE STARS NEEDS TO BE AN OPTION! We had no choice but to go here. There was nothing else open late. Buttttt Loooooook at this floor...then the lady took my order and because I wasn't speaking fast enough she expressed "OHHHH MY GOD" but forgot the recorder was still on...smh...I was appalled. I do understand it was late but Come on!!! She had no problem with her statement, then I pull up and a bottle of syrup on the floor along with garbage scattered, a half drank employee slurpee on the edge if the counter with straw in it...With these COVID-19 TIMES...EMPLOYEES DEFINITELY SHOULDN'T BE EATING AND DRINKING WHERE THEY ARE PREPARING AND SERVING CUSTOMER FOOD AND DRINKS. Worst McDonald’s in the history of the Universe. It’s probably the first time in my life i through away my entire meal without taking a single bite. The has brown crumbled in my hand. The biscuit was moist and the cheese was only partially melted. Don’t even get me started on the rancid smell coming from the Kitchen. Disgusting!

It's a Mcdonald's, and there's certain amounts of standardization that prevent it from hitting 1 star. But... As one of the few food options in FC/San Mateo late at night? The service is ... shockingly far below McD's standards at those hours. The night crew regularly botches orders, rushes me so much that they'll even ask me to go to the window when I'm not done ordering, parks orders way more often than any fast food would, and sometimes will make mistakes that go beyond "inaccurate" and enter "bizarre" - like ordering a mcchicken and getting one of them with no bottom bun (when i made no such request, of course). If you don't have extenuating reasons, avoid latenight for this one. And still be on your guard in daylight. ...The food itself is passable, though. Could use more reliability on heat/prep.
